Great vehicle. Drives very smooth, excellent features, comfortable seats, luxurious yet sporty. The Infotainment System leaves a bit to be desired. I find the track pad annoying, distracting and not user friendly!

Bad blind spots

Because the windows are so narrow you can’t physically check your blind spot. I have to rely on the blind spot detection in the rear view mirrors

When considering new cars, we were debating between this car and the RDX, but the RDX was riddled with safety complaints so we opted for this instead. If you're looking for a Luxury Crossover, that's fun to drive and fuel efficient for its size, the Lexus NX is not it. It only takes 91 octane fuel, and it guzzles it like it's at a happy hour. Even when driving efficiently, the fuel doesn't run for more than 330-350 miles which is about 20MPG. If you really want to feel the performance of the Turbo, you're probably dropping down in fuel economy of 17-18MPG. If you're driving in Econ Mode it's essentially a Toyota RAV4. The front seats are very narrow, so if you're an average sized person, you'll start to feel sore after about an hour of driving. The instrument cluster placement is a little odd, if your steering wheel is at a normal height, you can't see the odometer or trip computer, if you move it down far enough to be able to see it, then the steering wheel is too far into your lap. Cargo space is limited, rear seats don't fold down flat so not exactly efficient. Rear seat legroom is limited as well.

The interior is a bit cramped. The infotainment system is far too challenging to operate. Highway road noise makes conversation or using speakerphone nearly impossible

If you like quick acceleration from a stopped position, this is not the car for you. Once in motion and if there is a need for quick acceleration, it is great! This car has a smooth and quiet ride, which Lexus is known for. I do not like the positioning of the head rest and do not feel comfortable or relaxed when on a long drive because of this. Still debating if I will keep this car.
