Poor brake design
The only complaint abaout this car is the very poor brake design of the front brakes. The pads needed to be replaced and the disc turned, the dealer informed me that this will need to be done again after each 20K. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FOR THIS CAR.
poor build quality
the facts are that most people that purchase and drive the ls430 are not as familiar with the workmanship of luxury cars. the ls is a reliable vehicle but the overall workmanship show several areas that corners are cut to save$. the dash in my car was 4 different colors. lexus admitted the problem but did nothing about it. Promised to fix it but never did. the driver door rattled from the beginning, never fixed. hinges and inside of truck were not painted to match car color. the list goes on so take a close look at the car paying particular attention to the exposed screws at the bottom of the door sills.

Delighted Customer
Incredibly quiet with excellent performance. Reliability beyond expectations. Customer service has no equal. Fuel economy is great considering the performance. 20+ MPG including city driving.
ALL THE LUXURY ONE COULD DESIRE
A beautifully engineered and designed vehicle. Incredibly quiet. The laser cruise control makes Interstate driving a pleasure. Cornering lights, when the turn signals are used would be a helpful option, My only real criticism is that the Navigation system CD is more than a year out of date on the exit numbers for our Interstate (I75)
Great Car!
Over one year and we can't find a single problem with the car. Change oil and rotate tires and that's all. A 600 mile day trip and we are not even tired. Great ride.
