The last of the V8's
Just purchased a 2024 IS500 vector blue as soon as I saw it at the dealer. Happy to pay MSRP as this will be a classic. The car is fast and fun to drive and unlike a hard core M3 or AMG it is actually very comfortable as a daily driver, and that V8 sound is SPECTACULAR! This is probably the best looking sports sedan in the market. Some reviews complain about a dated interior, however I find it comfortable and very high quality, in fact that is one of the reasons Lexus and Toyotas are so reliable, they are not constantly making drastic changes every year but constantly improving on what is already a top notch fit and finish. If you live in an area with winter snow and ice this might not be a good year round car and the only other possible issue is the rear seat is tight so if you transport big and tall people keep the ride short.

IS is Nice!
Only drawback is that the mirrors don’t fold and I feel like for the price the sound system should be an automatic upgrade. Other than that…great vehicle

Happiness is a New Second Car
Our new Lexus IS350 is an ideal second car as it is smaller, more nimble and easy to park but has a very comfortable ride and a spunky V6 engine. Love it!

The V8 talks to me!
I wanted to buy the vanilla IS 500 F-Sport, but they only had the Premium model available, so I bought it. I'm very happy I got the Premium instead, as it adds some nice details and features I didn't know I needed such as the LED lights and 17 speaker stereo! This is the only car in this class that has a V8, and it roars when you put your foot in it! In Sport S+ mode, the car turns into a rocket sled when you get in the ~5,000 rpm range. Redline is 7,300 rpms which is impressive for a V8. However, my wife can put around happily as well in "normal" mode. The car is very comfortable, rides nice, and looks sexy. Some reviews complain about lack of cargo space, but this is not an SUV and it has plenty of room when you fold down the back seats. Don't settle for the IS 350, as it has 150+ less horse power, and only weighs about 150 lbs. less than the IS 500. The two body styles and interior are identical except there is an extra bump on the hood to accommodate the slightly larger V8 engine. In 6 months driving in Southern California, I have only seen one other on the road, so the IS 500 is rather rare, which is what a gem like this should be. I will be happily driving my Lexus IS500 F-Sport Premium for many years and get many compliments from friends and strangers regarding the car.

Handling & power nice!!!
Traded 2015 RC for a 2024 IS 350 AWD Fsport. Gave up some power but a much improved ride and handing from the IS. Our prime car is a 2020 RX and is our eighth Lexus we purchased.

SLOW, OVERPRICED, UNDER EQUIPPED, OUTDATED, SAVE Y
I purchased a 2024 Lexus IS 350 F Sport Design brand new in October of 2024. I drove the car for 7100 miles in 6 months. During that time, I heard creaking popping and cracking sounds at low speeds over bumps in my neighborhood from the rear of the car. Upon acceleration you could hear the transmission whining (brand new car* WTH?) The 311 horsepower can’t be utilized because the 8 speed auto transmission won’t put down maximum torque of 280 ft/lb (which is a joke in itself) until around 4000 rpms. If you are looking for something fun to drive, this isn’t it. The fuel economy in the city and on a short daily commute achieved substantially less than advertised mark of 20 city. I was averaging around 16, pathetic for a Japanese made vehicle even if non turbocharged. Now, let’s get to the simple stuff that a luxury brand should offer that aren’t included on this car. For starters, my 2018 Camry XSE was more well equipped then my Lexus. The Lexus has a terrible back up camera looked like it came out in 2004 not 2024. There are zero parking sensors on the 47,000$ base Is350, no wireless Apple CarPlay, no wireless android auto, very small 8 inch infotainment screen, awful stereo unless you buy the 4000 dollar mark levinson option. The dash cluster is out of a 2010 corolla, tiny lcd screen in center of dash shows limited vehicle information, and has horrible aesthetics for the price point. The seats are fake leather, non cooled, non heated steering wheel, non power steering wheel, no memory seating, no lumbar support, seats are very small and have large bolstering which could become uncomfortable to people who aren’t average size, rear leg room for an adult is non existent (might as well be a coupe unless it’s kids under the age of 12). Overall, for the price i paid in gas ($300-360/month) insurance (113/month) and car payment ($700/month) this vehicle is not worth over $1100/month. I traded the vehicle in, cut my losses and couldn’t be happier to be out of this vehicle.

IS Mine!
I purchased the 24 IS 350 Fsport. Had the 14 IS 250 Fsport. This car is so much better in horsepower and quieter. Get compliments several times I’m out and about. Iridium shines bright. MPG around 27 and that’s pushing it. Overall I’m happy.
