Used 2002 Lexus IS 300 Consumer Reviews
2001 IS300
Excellent value for the money. Transmission electronics and shifter design need improvement. 5-speed manual should be offered on the SportCross. Cheaper IS200 should be brought here from overseas market.
SportX is fun
After 3 months with the SportX I really enjoy this car. I wish it had some features like memory seats but I smile every time I drive the car. I find the hatchback to be really useful. I am happy with the good balance of performance and handling. The car is pretty quiet and smooth for a sport car. The car has had zero problems and feels like it will easily last 100K miles.

Affordable Performance and Style
I am extremely happy w/ my IS300 This car has the soul of a tiger. The handling is outstanding, and performance is great, but the styling is what I really love. Granted, the styling is "not your father's Lexus", but it is very nice indeed. For thousands of dollars less than its main competitors, you get alot of bang for your buck. This, of course, is not a perfect car. The gas mileage is less than average (expect about 18-20 mpg), and the trunk space is extremely lacking.
Awesome
Awesome car, well worth the money, very sleek but fun, just amazing car inside and out!
Better Then BMW
I shopped around for some time before I decided on my IS 300. What brought me to it at first was the Lexus name and good looks of the car and once I drove it!! WOW!! This is a great car!! Fun to drive, smooth as hell and at times almost seems to know what you're going to do before you do it! Inside the car offers great comfort and you almost forget you're in a sports car. Every friend of mine that has sat in it has used the word WOW a few times! After having this car for a few months I'm so glad I didn't buy a BMW!
