Used 2002 Lexus IS 300 Consumer Reviews
Great Entry Level Sports Sedan
This car reminds me of the 3-series of old. Driving fun factor is a 10, while a little practicality is lost (gas mileage, trunk space). But this is an awesome car to own and drive. I highly recommend this vehicle to spirited drivers who want Lexus realibility and great service. The IS may appear to be "flashy" by some, but this is an automobile for true car enthusiasts who enjoy driving and sees having luxury ammeminites as a bonus.
A Great Little Car
I've had my IS for over 15 months and I can't even believe how drama-free and worry-free it's been. It's a sweet heart of a car. I love this car. It's got great handling, good acceleration (I've got the rare 5 spd/man.), awesome color (Solar Yellow), and adequate luxury (Nav.syster, heated seats, full leather, 6 disc cd). But it's the fun factor that keeps me smiling.

bread and butter of sport sedans
Got rid of my VW Jetta GLX and got this. No more ridiculously expensive parts -- this is Japanese reliability and price with German performance. Who can beat that???
Best car
It's no M3, but that's only because it doesn't have the horsepower. My father likes it better than his 3-series. In its defense, however, I don't drive it on a racetrack, so when do I ever need 300+ HP?
