2016 IS200T Seats = Backpain
In October 2015, I traded my 2007 ES350 in for an IS200T. I was so excited to try the IS, it's ideal for San Diego. The IS200T is beautiful, but the seats are very uncomfortable. When I first got the car, I didn't notice it; as I understood, it was different than the ES I was used to and the IS would require adjustment. After the first month, I knew the front seats were uncomfortable, I voiced my complaint to a friend, whom tested the seats and said it felt okay - that's what I thought at first too. I started getting back pain through the holidays of 2015. I was sure it was the seats, but determined I was just not adjusted to the seats yet. Today in January 2016, I cannot take it anymore. I have backpain and I feel like I'm getting a hunchback from it. I have excellent posture: one, I'm a ballroom dancer; two, I've never had back or neck issues. I've decided to return to the Lexus dealership where I purchased my car, bring this to their attention and see if there's a fix: swap the seats or swap the car. Stay tuned. DR Jan 2018, Update: No change. Eats are still awful. I purchased a back cushipn for support. Lexus of San Diego was not able to assist by offering a fix or a good deal on trading in the car. However, in addition to the seats, the breaks began sqeeking at 6 months. I've had the breaks checked, they are fine. Two years now, they squeal and squeak still. Ugh, one more year. >:/

Best Ride Ever!!
This car is total comfort and drives Like a dream. It’s not too big and not too small. Very sporty looking and great gas mileage. I’m sold on the IS.

Easily makes more power
The car makes ok power but the turbo lag was just disappointing and unlike other luxury brands that have cars of its class this one was completely quiet for being a sporty car but after installing a cold air intake it's like it brought the turbo to life when accelerating hard you can hear the turbo whistle with every shift and I also ended up installing a down pipe to the turbo and man I feel as if I have a 350 I love this car also added stiffer springs and it let's you really push this car.

Hot car
I bought my Lexus IS 200t F Sport in 2015 with 6 miles on the odometer. Many miles later, I still get the same happy feeling when I see it; let alone drive it. Even with the newer models out, the sporty design and detailing on this model remains red hot. As far as quality, I have not had any mechanical issues and everything is still working like it is brand new. It has speed when you need it; and Turbo when you really want to take it up a few notches. My little Lexus IS 200t also handles well. There is enough room in this car to comfortably seat five; and my friends and family have all complimented on the luxury and comfort. I can't say enough about the satisfaction I get from driving my Lexus...extremely fun car to drive.

Weird 3-4 second delay when accelerating...
A few things, when accelerating in the IS200t, there's an odd delay that you no longer feel with other brands I've test driven (this reminds me of old technology turbos). So pulling out into traffic isn't as confidence inspiring, as one may expect. Also, the car I test had the plastic mesh material from C pillar hanging there, and a rubber seal on the door loose. I was extremely disappointed, as I've heard mainly great things about Lexus quality. The paint on the exterior of my friends 2016 (flat black) is really scratched, I asked him why? He stated he takes it to the car wash, so again not impressed with the overall quality. I've since driven the 2017 330i and the 2017 Audi A4, they seem much more surefooted, as well as the cabin materials are constructed as you'd expect. I haven't made a decision on my vehicle yet, however the Lexus IS200t, left me pining for more; as I thought it would be the clear winner. I left the dealership rather disappointed.
