When I compare both my GS300 and BMW 525 the GS is equal to or better in all categories except handling...but it's very close. The GS has an ageless design, beautiful fit and finish and unmatched reliability. The soft, black leather interior with a splash of dark burl wood is absolutely stunning...you won't be disapointed with this luxury sports car. The Lexus key is the one I reach for when I leave the house!!

Bought Used and saved on this Lexus

Bought this 05 about two months ago. Saved from the sticker price about $12k. Nice car, ride with standard stock tires is a bit noisy. Suggest a smoother riding factory tire. Interior needs in dash 6 CD, currently in glove box. Needs sunglass holder over head. Very comfortable interior ride over 30 mph. Solid feel and lots of room inside and also in trunk. Gas mileage averages about 18 mpg in town and 22 mpg highway. Nice sound system, leather seats very comfortable, lumbar support very good. Dash instrument panel easy to read. Solid all around vehicle.

I did my research and found that the GS 300 Lexus is a much better car. It's a lot more comfortable in side than the BMW 525, and guess what they both cost about the same. Yet, it has a more stylish body.

My GS 300 spoiled me, but I didn't realize it until I started looking at other cars online. I used to do it for fun, just to fantasize about what I might enjoy. I was lucky enough to find my 04 model with the Nav/Lev package, which has more than proven itself. Now I don't even have fun looking at other cars. I just can't imagine that it would get any better than the reliability, extreme level of comfort, and total owner satisfaction that I have experienced over the past year and a half. My first lexus was a 96 ES 300, which was replaced with this one. As long as I am able, I will never purchase another vehicle.

This is my first foreign car. I will never buy another brand of car again. As a former Lincoln owner, this car far exceeds my expectations of an automobile. The ride is great, I have never had to take my car in for what Lincoln always called "expected problems with new cars", all I have to do is regular maintenance. I highly recommend this car to anyone who doesn't want to lose all there investment when they drive off the lot. This vehicle will retain over 50% of its value after 5 years.

I upgraded from the ES300 to the GS300. The handling and responiveness is what made me purchase the GS vs. the LS, as well as the GS having more room than the ES and it has a more meaty look than a luxuy sedan. It is awesome on trips, you feel a few bumps but over all it is nice quiet and smooth. There have not been any problems so far with the car. The Lexus brand has made an impression on my and my family so as long as they make good quality luxury cars that look good, they will have me for a customer.

My wife loves it - I am more of a critical reviewer. It is an extremely nice car. However, I am surprised by several negatives. There is no engine compartment light under the hood - I've never seen that on a car. There are visible "Staples" on the carpet where it runs up under the dashboard and on the trunk bed liner - Strange for a luxury car. The mileage compares very favorably with my other vehicles, the only drawback is it requires premium fuel. That said, I think it is superior in many ways to offerings from Mercedes and BMW. In fact we first tested an Infinity G35. After testing the Lexus there was no comparison.

As a salesman, I drive approximately 250 miles perday in a 5-day week. Reliability, safety, comfort and fuel economy are the most important attributes for any car I drive. My GS 300 meets these criteria, and has eye- catching styling to boot. The Lexus dealers with whom I deal for routine service are nothing short of amazing. Their personna is such that they have become another reason to buy a Lexus. Their acommodations, such as loaner cars and complimentary cash washes, have further justified my decision to purchase. When I am ready to replace my GS, I'll look for another Lexus.

Traded in my C-Class and am completely thrilled. GS-300 has plenty of power, don't listen to the nay sayers!! Smooth, quiet, touch of understeer which I happen to like. Test drove the A-6, new E-class, 5 series, and TL; this one beat them all out, and got an amazing deal with payments less than my 2002 C-Class!! Buy this car!

A Very Good Sedan

An excellent sedan. Quiet, roomy, comfortable, great steering and brakes. Controls are logical and have the right feel. Not as fast as a G35, but much quieter, better ride, much more logical switch gear, useable side mirrors (size) and, best of all, no snow moblie noise the minute you step on it. More room than a TL and no torque steer. TL is nice and worth a look if a little less room will work for you same with an M45. The car will grow on you as you drive it as all of the little things are right. Prior years owners are VERY satisfied with this car. My reliability score is based on what I have read.

What a great car. It's so much fun to drive. I have heated seats and that is such a plus on those cold mornings. The car is loaded with so many extras for the price, it would be hard to name anything more I would look for a car to have. My only concern is that it is a gas piggy, I brake for most gas stations ......

This is a very quiet and comfortable car. It has good power, great steering and great brakes. Controls are logical and well placed. The standard sound system is a good one. Very solid feel. The interior is nicer than that of competing vehicles. If you have to have a very fast car, look at a G35 or TL, but neither is a quiet or roomy. The G35 makes significant noise if you are cruising and step on it even a little bit. Smaller, more expensive, but very nicely done is the Audi S4. All of the little things are right on this car, but it is the last year of this version.

Spare parts (If ever needed!) are expensive. Solide, smooth reliable drive. Roomy interior with comfortable, electric adjustable heated leather seats. Some details not as smart as European cars. For example backseats not removable to increase trunkroom. Fuel consumption could be better. Like the "incognito" apearance. You drive one of the best cars in the World and no one knows! Heartly recommend this gem.

The interior of the GS 300 is very stylish and controls are within easy reach to the driver. I bought the navigation system and am very happy with its overall performance. System is run off of GPS and keeps the car on the map. The 6 cyl engine is very zippy. I toyed with the idea of getting the GS 430 to get the bigger engine but after driving both found that the GS 300 had plenty of power. Service from Lexus has been a very pleasant experience. I highly recommend this car.

After creating this car I'm sure the Lexus engineers have probably ironically amazed themselves. There are so many things that make car such an intriguing automobile. Besides the Exhilarating power and Beautiful looks, it just seems to amaze me everyday. I've owned it for about an year and its still a joy to look at it everday.

This car has been flawless. I think a couple extra ponies under the hood would be nice, but not really all that necessary. The GS430 is TOO much engine for everyday use. Ride is silky smooth and my 100 a day, round trip commute is not so bad anymore. I look forward to my drive now. No regrets!

Lexus really knows how to satisfy their buyers. My experience from the time I set foot on the dealership floor until I drove off with my brand new car was fantastic. The car drives like a dream and has the fit-and-finish that would leave even the most critical buyer in awe. The sound system is great and the navigation is easy to use. The use of high quality materials is apparent on both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.

What pride the Japanese take in their customer service and procuct. The car is a dream to drive and the company is a pleasure to work with. I purchased my 2003 Lexus in Dec. of 2002. I had done my research on it for about 9 months before purchasing. I compared it to the S-type Jaguar,300 Mercedes and also against the Lexus ES300. I found it to be more appealing in style and performance. The sound system (Mark Levinson) is surperb. There can not be a better navigation system. So easy to operate. It has great pick up with no hesitation. I would buy another one in a minute. Great car!!!!
