Beautiful car and features. We have the "S" that we got 7/9/21. But our instrumentation cluster keeps going out (started very next day). Whole screen goes black. Comes back on intermittently (maybe 25% of startups it's on). No fix yet. Word is in to dealership and sent message to Kia Corp. Many others same issue: https://tellurideforum.org/threads/lcd-instrument-cluster-black.8504/page-2#posts Recommend not buying until a formal fix is released.

Can't Be Repaired
It was a nice vehicle until at about 3,000 miles the drive belt broke and caused the coolant and the oil to drain from the car as well as messing up the electronics and overheating the engine. The parts needed to repair the vehicle have not even been manufactured yet. Don't know when or if I will ever see the car again.

Pleasantly surprised!
I grew up with Toyota. But with inflated price tags we decided to look elsewhere. We discovered the new 2022 Kia Telluride SX online. Very impressed by the reviews we went for a test drive. Wow. Stunning vehicle inside and out thanks to the teaming up with BMW and Audi who designed the interior and exterior. We bought the dark grey SX with both the Prestige and Nightfall packages. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. We traded in our 2018 Land Rover Discovery for the Telluride. (Stay away from Land Rover, nothing but expensive problems). We’re incredibly happy with the Kia. I still tell people about how if you’d ask me a year ago how I felt about Kia I’d probably respond with “Kia who?”. Very roomy, and when the second and third rows are folded down you’ll have plenty of space for all your kids stuff they can’t leave without. Comfortable ride and the gas mileage isn’t too shabby for such a heavy suv. From the dual sunroofs to the great sound system to all the different settings. It’s a very fun car to drive. Whether you’re in sport mode or comfort mode. Love the ambient lighting on the doors and front dash that you can change and adjust at will. The only two things that I’d like to see in it are controls over the front passenger seat on the drivers side and controls for second row heating up front as well. Other than that, and I sincerely mean this after owning over 24 vehicles in my short 35yrs of living; I’ve never driven such a perfect car (Please forgive me TOYOTA…). Whether you’re a soccer mom of three, a Lyft driver, adventurer, or just someone who enjoys a gorgeous ride that’s comfortable, this car will suit any lifestyle. Cannot recommend the 2022 Telluride SX enough!

Still Styling!
This is a updated review on my 2022 Kia Telluride SX. Here goes: It now has 31000 miles on it and it still runs, rides and looks like new. As you can tell by the mileage we love driving it everywhere. The ride quality is STILL superior, the Nappa Leather seats are as good as they get and the technology is still all in perfect working order without a flaw! Every time someone rides in it the comments are endless of how nice it is. This Kia Telluride has been and still is the best vehicle I have ever purchased. We are now looking at the 2023 Kia Sportage for my wife to purchase within the next year. I am a car fanatic and take car reviews very seriously. The car business has been in my family for 3 generations as my grandfather owned a Oldsmobile dealership, and my father worked for G.M. all his life. Naturally I inherited the same love for cars.

Love This Vehicle
This is our second Telluride (2020 and 2922). It is without question the best vehicle I have ever owned. The hype is real. Very comfortable and roomy, it both drives and rides well, The power is great for passing or avoiding danger, Our 2020 Telluride has averaged 28.2 mpg over the last 20,300 mile of about 50-50 city-interstate travel. I do drive in eco and am a smooth driver. The seats are very comfortable and the infotainment system is actually very easy to master in a few minutes only. In fact the 2022 is easier to use than the 2020 because of some minor tweaks. Vehicle is quiet and sound system is great. In fact, I have ordered another 2022 and will trade the 2020 in when the new one arrives. The 2020 has not had one single defect, which I consider as an amazing feat over 2 1/2 years of driving. I have paid full sticker price for both vehicles, which is a shout out to the integrity of our local dealer, as most all other dealers add a stiff premium to their sticker price. Highly recommend this vehicle. It is perfectly sized to accommodate both ease of use in parking and narrow roads while handling truck bed size hauling chores. Ingenious design work here.

Buyer Beware
On June 20th 2022 our 2022 Kia Telluride shredded its' serpentine drive belt at 3650 miles and stranded us 100 miles from home. After a $1000 towing bill it has been sitting in the dealers lot since that day (seven weeks ago) due to a lack of replacement belts in the USA. Dealer is unable to provide us an ETA on the new belt. At least our Telluride is not lonely as it has at least 30 other Kia vehicles sitting next to it also collecting dirt and also awaiting parts. Kia appears to have severe logistical issues getting replacement parts to their dealers and lacks a sense of urgency to get their customers cars fixed and back on the road.
value for each cents
its been 3 months of proud owner of SX nightfall Black copper 2022 model, its just a crazy SUV, it got best to best tech, some of the advance features i loved are HUD, HDA, Stop and go cruice control, different drive mode with AWD lock, 7speakers Harman Karton system, one touch UVO support, remote climate control system... list goes on. Overall its s tough contender to all 3 row SUV's Kia has definitely a tech car which should not be ignored by any tech car buyers.

LOVE THIS CAR
I previously drove a Ford Explorer Limited. I was concerned about moving to the Kia Telluride S package because it lacked some of the options I had in the Explorer. I no longer feel that way. The Kia looks better, drives better, gets better gas mileage and despite missing a few key features that my upgraded Explorer has, the Telluride has some other cool features. I could have spent another ~12-15K to get the highest level package and received all the features, but the price did not justify it Pros - I love the silhouette of the Telluride. It just looks good. Better gas mileage Better handling Better safety options Split rear seats (Captain's Chairs) Android Auto Moon Roof Wireless charging pad Mobile App with support for remote lock/unlock/start (LOVE THIS FEATURE) 10.1 touchscreen Easy to access 'trunk' storage Cons No support for WIRELESS Android Auto Manual passenger seat (this one hurt) Heated seats but no cooled seats (minor issue) No Power tailgate UPDATE:Over a year later, and I still love this SUV. I have had no major issues so far and living without the 'standard' things except for Wireless Android. I still miss that. Otherwise, this is the best vehicle I have ever owned.

Affordable luxury
I'm loving my 2022 Telluride so far! Drives smooth, many safety features, very comfortable leather seats and nice moonroof, front and rear that I enjoy on sunny days! I chose the white exterior with black rims and tan interior. The look goes "hard"!!

nice ride
This Telluride is such a great SUV. The ride is smooth & Kia didn't miss any details on the interior. The looks are sleek & love the new logo. It has everything from lane change alert to heated/cooled seat in the back. Plenty of leg room even in the 3rd row.

Almost Perfect
I had read all the great reviews and had my eye on this car for some time. A mechanical problem with my former car pushed me to buy when inventory was almost nonexistent and dealers were charging a premium. I love everything about the car, especially all the included safety features, but am a little disappointed that it did not come with appointments that are standard on cars that cost way less, such as memory seats, and fog lights. I can live without these, but they should be included in the base model not the highest trim package. Overall I highly recommend this car, but wait for prices to normalize and dealer inventory improves then get the SX fully loaded and you will be very happy.

Stuck forever in the body shop - critical parts
We took delivery on a brand new 2022 Kia Telluride SX AWD on December 16, 2021. On June 5th my wife was in a collision with a deer which did about $9,000 worth of damage. The vehicle has been in the body shop awaiting parts since June 7th. This review is being entered on July 13, 2022. CONDENSER - 97606S9100 UPPER COVER W/PARK SENSORS - 86510S9010 The two parts above are still outstanding with no ETA.
3 Row SUV
I took car for a ride and as advertised had all the technology one would expect. The ride was good and handled very well. The only issue was the price offered which best I can see was about 12000 above MSRP. I guess they can get it since they are in short supply just not from me. Would recommend the car if paying MSRP.

I read all the reviews and it does not disappoint. Smooth ride, excellent visibility and utility. I’ve had it for a month and am so glad I purchased it.

I love the design on the outside and you can't beat the price to get a fully loaded car with all the bells and whistles and the cargo space I needed, plus the 100,000 mile warranty!

Great style, little substance.
I guess I should have realized you have to sacrifice something to get all the wonderful features and cool design at a more than reasonable price point. Unfortunately, for the Telluride, drive quality is mediocre at best. The bigger issue is reliability, specifically with the engine and electronics. Evidence is anecdotal, but of the three people I know who have 22 Telluride’s, two of them dealt with engine failure before hitting 30k miles. Around 20k miles, I started hearing a change in my engine and sold my telluride before I had a 17000 repair on my hands. (I already had to pay two grand to replace the condenser less than three months after purchase). The mechanics at my dealership said this is becoming a real problem. Our dealership is buying the failed engine tellurides back from the customers at cost. The mechanic I talked to said they had 9-10 Tellurides in the back of the dealer with failed engines. Not a great sign. Luckily, I traded mine in for a profit and got enough to purchase a new truck, so I’ll give it two stars for resale value.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! **UPDATE**
Everywhere puts this car near perfect ratings. Car isn't bad, but it's far from perfect. Customer service though is HORRENDOUS from KIA. Had a minor issue soon after purchasing and it's been nearly a year and still not resolved. ***UPDATED*** KIA never was able to resolve, sold the vehicle for a Subaru Ascent, and in hindsight, very happy it worked out this way. Had we not had a dispute over their warranty issue (ended up costing us a measly $150, but glad it wasn't more), we would have never even thought about selling. In short, BEWARE!!!

Best Vehicle I’ve Ever Owned
I am so impressed with my 2022 Telluride. I went with the Glacial White Pearl and Nightfall/Prestige package AWD. This thing has everything. I didn’t know a vehicle could come with such things. It’s so nice and floats around like it’s hovering. Great fuel economy, an unbelievable amount of space. We have 4 kids and everyone rides so comfortably. We had a suburban before this and there is more leg room in the 2nd row and the same space in the 3rd. I LOVE it!

Loving my new ride!
I have driven GMC Yukons for the last 9 years but was very happy to switch over to the Kia Telluride. Not only does the redesign look super cool and trendy, the technology and safety features for the price are fantastic. This car offers more than its luxury counterparts in the 3 row SUV category. I’m very happy with our purchase!

Nice but some flaws
We got the EX because we need 8-passenger seating. I love the way it drives and the quietness. But it seems that the Telluride designers paid very little attention to anyone who needs either 8-passenger seating or even a 3-passenger second row. (Think about 2 adult passengers and a baby with second-row captains seats.) The middle seat in the second row bench seat has very poor legroom due to the protruding center console. You can't get both 8-passenger seating and some key features. For example: You can't get a good stereo. There are no speakers in the 3rd row. No Homelink (garage door remote). No surround view. No head-up display. No auto-dimming headlights. No nightfall package, no black wheels. No automatic wipers. Only two interior colors - black and gray. Etc. If you need 8-passenger seating you may want to look elsewhere. I've had my 2022 Telluride for 14 months and 12K miles; there have been no problems - not even a rattle.

Teluride Nightsky with cheaper interior
I was lucky enough to get two tellurides one SX and one in the nightsky. The nightsky I received 2 months in later September 2022 than when I received my SX. I am very disappointed with the cheapened materials they used 2 months later. It is supposed to be the exact same car but blacked-out exterior. Here are some noticeable differences that I found, feel free to add to this list. I have driven the new nightsky for a week and might have missed other discrepancies. Changes of telluride material 2 months later: 1. interior roof material, from velour-like fabric to really cheap rough polyester mesh-like fabric 2. floormats: much thinner and rubber is made from a stiffer material. 3. Handlebar: Only the upper pieces were made from vegan leather, the rest is hard cheap plastic 4. The car seat materials are significantly cheaper feel, like thin plasticky leather. 5. Tray inside the middle console, used to have a non-slip bottom that was removed 6 steering wheel, huge disappointment it is a plasticky thinner leather material. It feels cheap, unlike the SX.

I love this car!!
After driving a Dodge Durango, Dodge Caravan, and Jeep Patriot for the past 19 years, I am LOVING the quiet, smooth ride. The LX doesn't offer all the bells and whistles but it has more technology than any of my past vehicles. I am very happy with this car so far!

Tell-you-about-my-ride!
I am so pleased with my experience with my Telluride. The space, gas mileage, handling, electronic equipment and comfort of passengers are all reasons why I enjoy my ride. I drove from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Atlanta, Georgia only having to fill-up once along the way! You should hear all the compliments from friends and strangers, alike, that I get! I have seen people taking pictures of my Telluride.

Spent most of its first year in the shop
Where to begin? Transmission failure at 9k miles that required it sit in the Kia dealership's parking lot for over two months. Back into the shop for warranty work for a recall on the navigation system (replacement). Back into the shop again soon for another recall for the serpentine belt. Reliable vehicle? Hardly. Now let's talk about the fit and finish. The interior is clean. Not perfect, but comfortable enough. The navigation system and infotainment is slower than any vehicle I've ever owned, even after the update. The engine has adequate power, however, unless you're in sport mode, the transmission will actually downshift as you're turning a corner up the street which makes for a frustrating situation in acceleration. Ride is good, interior noise is good. I've had an XLT Explorer I would rather drive than this. I don't trust it--not impressed.

My New Ride!
We just bought a 2022 Kia Telluride from a dealer 60 miles from us. I drove it home. What a great ride! I was comfirtable and felt very safe. It handled our curvy roads just fine. We bought white with black interior. I am very happy with the Kia Telluride. I love it!
Great SUV with some flaws
Love the vehicle so far, we have only had it for a couple months but we did drive cross country. Handled ice/snow pretty well. We have the S with pilot seats and think it has the perfect amount of room. But there are some issues with this windshield. For a vehicle I paid 45k for I already have three chips on the front windshield. It’s quite upsetting how easy it chips, for vehicle that’s only been on the road for a year and a half I can only imagine the issue is going to get worse. I really hope KIA resolves this issue.

I so wanted to love this car
After around 1500 miles in the past 5 weeks I can honestly say I have buyers remorse BAD! I was talked into the godawful Everlasting Silver color by the salesman who gave me a good deal on the vehicle. The tech and safety features are great. However the car lacks torque and has numb feeling steering. It’s just another underpowered grey SUV in a sea of grey SUVs in a suburban neighborhood. I wish I had just held out, saved up a year or two and bought the Genesis GV80 that I actually wanted to buy instead of the down market product I ended up with.

Fantastic car!
Love the car in general. Only one complaint - we can't sync it to our garage door. Our other 15 year old cars came with this option, would expect it to be standard! Else, the car is amazing - best storage behind the third row that we could find.

Great Family SUV
First time buying a new car, had to wait 9 months, and it wasn't exactly what I ordered...BUT I did buy at MSRP with no additional add ons and the Telluride is an amazing SUV! Getting an EX around $45k seemed to be the sweet spot for us. Heated and cooled seats, heated steering wheel and some other nice features...but not fully loaded with the price hike to match. We really enjoy the roominess and cargo capacity without the massive footprint or price of a full size SUV. We have the Premium package with the 2nd row buckets and our kids are very comfortable there. This has one a larger 3rd row seating area for its segment as well and an adult can actually sit back there. We do frequent long hauls and each year do a 2,000 mile round trip vacation each summer, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the HDA and Adaptive Cruise and etc. all work together to keep us moving in the future.

Riding high in my Telluride
Was lucky to get the exact car I wanted…S model with very few extras. Black with nice chrome accents…Love all the standard safety features…Lane departure and side alerts are great. Still learning about the many other features…Had to pay a little over MSRP, but very satisfied with the deal, particularly with the low inventory.

COLD WEATHER LIVING BUYER BEWARE
This vehicle has had its oil housing assembly replaced at 68K and now at 103 K apparently needs its rear main seal replaced- which is a large job and a part that so rarely should need replacing, but yet here we are. The AC system also has parts & had to be replaced. The thermostat assembly & gasket has been replaced twice. The plastic parts do not hold up to the cold weather. This vehicle will now begin costing a lot of money post warranty.
Falling apart with less than 30k
Purchased new in 2022, have less than 30k on it, and the vehicle is literally coming apart. The significant safety related recalls have been one thing. But it also has had two additional major repairs, Kia refused to cover a failed wiper washer motor claiming I had put the wrong type of fluid in the reservoir - a reservoir I had never even opened (Arizona). All service performed at dealer. Steering wheel “leather” flaking apart. Interior storage covers won’t stay closed. Electronic warning systems will ignore a car in the lane next to you, but go berserk merging into a lane with a vehicle 200 ft behind you. Absolute trash vehicle

Must love it since I’m on #2!
My first Telluride was a ‘20 EX which was a very nice vehicle. When my lease was up, I had low mileage and due to high demand, I got a decent trade-in value towards my new ‘22 Gravity Gray SX-P NF with Dune Brown Nappa leather interior. My lease was up, and my order (would’ve been a ‘23) wasn’t in. This one became available as I was getting prepared to rent my ‘20 until the new order arrived. I love the upgrades from the EX including 2nd row heated/cooled seats (big hit), ambient lighting, improved stereo which sounds even better when using Apple car Play, rain sensing wipers, auto dimming lights, memory driver’s seat for 2 drivers, black wheels, amber headlights, HUD, etc. I love the alerts it gives me when parking and the street view option so you can see what’s next to you when turning such as bikers, in dodgy areas, pulling up on curbs. It doesn’t do much highway driving so I can’t give a fair estimate of combined mpg. It practically drives itself with Drivers Assist though when it goes on a trip. One thing I haven’t done is allow my dogs in it so we usually take our 4Runner when they come ;) since my “luxury” vehicle is my haven. I highly recommend it.

High price, low delivery
I’ve never had a car that missed the mark by so far! It’s 2022, you would assume certain features just come standard in the majority of cars, but the Kia Telluride is here to tell you otherwise! I had an early 2000’s car that had more features than than the Kia. For its high price mark, this car was a major disappointment that I traded in only 6 months after I purchased it!
