Better than Expected
I have almost 20K miles on my white LX. Great Lakes winters and still 52 MPG average! 50/50 highway/city use. The car is very comfortable (6'2") and smooth. A bit more noise on rough surfaces than my previous VW. The sound system and wireless Apple car play work well. LOTS of backs seat room and reasonable storage. I have had many compliments on the design.

Buy It, And Then Name Your Pruce
Few cars allow you the opportunity to dramatically alter the cost of ownership after the purchase, but the Kia Niro HEV can. By modifying your driving technique you can dramatically increase your MPG.

Be aware
Buying a car is like speed dating—you're given twenty minutes to figure out if there is a possibility of romance. It's a terrible way to buy car. File under :" If I only knew now what I didn't then" I would have passed on this car. First and foremost is the utterly complex and anti-intuitive dash panel. To get to the radio, you need to switch the air conditioning button—one is always shutting off either radio or the air, and at some point, it is exhausting. Who thought this was a good idea? Basically all panel controls have some anti-intuitive aspect to them. I have owned mine for less than a year and I can't swear but my mileage is decreasing. Do I need top get service already? AND, there is already a recall on my model (wind). Lastly, there is the sad and succinct fact that very often you leave the car only to be reminded that the engine is still on...yes, it is that quiet, but also that annoying. To say I. have regrets about his purchases is putting it mildly.
