Great Car Wrangler 6 cyl.
Bought it used, owned it for 5 years already. I've had convertibles before like the saab turbo, but this is different. It's fun, reliable, more powerful and faster than you think. Seats are comfortable. Tops are a little of a pain to work with, but they have newer versions now. It's a little loud when youre driving 80, and can be a little bumpy if you don't have good shocks. Love the resale value too.
the JEEPSTER!
THE WRANGLER WILL FOREVER BE IN MY HEART...BUT IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON. EVERYONE SHOULD RIDE OR OWN ONE OF THESE CARS ONCE IN THEIR LIFE!

the true "ultimate driving machine"
whoever said that about BMW must have never driven a jeep.
Heartbroken
The best car I ever drove and owned. Never a problem - always reliable. The hard top is great in winter and the soft is great in warmer weather - a little loud though at high speeds.. Have to sell because of new baby - need larger SUV - but when he gets a little older we will absolutly own again! Great Fun and Great Drive -
Capable and fun to drive
Purchased brand new, first Jeep and I could not be happier. It is not comfortable on long trips, short on available interior room for passengers or gear, and gets poor fuel mileage, but I absolutely love to drive it. It has gotten me through a few blizzards, some local flooding, and everything else mother nature can throw at me. Fun to drive no matter what time of year, great to put the top down. Very utilitarian controls. Heater very strong. This Jeep has been the most trustworthy "friend" I have had!
Get a 1995 or earlier for a used Jeep!
I bought my 1995 Wrangler new and it's as solid as they come. I've put $78,000 miles on it and have only replaced the muffler, and I damaged the muffler while off road. Other than that just put in the oil and go! If you are in the market for a used Jeep the models from 1995 and older are cheaper to maintain, cheaper to lift, do custom things with and more durable than the Jeep Wranglers made from 1997 on (There was no 1996 model). The Wranglers made from 1997 on are basically Grand Cherokee's with a Jeep body (to put it simply). The suspension repairs or a lift kit on the newer Jeeps cost a fortune!
Happy Owner
I am owner #2 of a '95 Jeep YJ S, which I bought in 1997. I have used this Jeep in many occupational applications including hauling a light duty trailer for up to 12 hours straight. This Jeep has held up to a remarkable amount of punishment and continues to prove its reliability & ability, & even its safety. I have been in 2 very dangerous accidents (75mph roll-over & T-boned by a 60mph runaway truck) in this Jeep with no injury and astonishingly minimal damage to the vehicle. Mine has over 177K miles and is still going strong. Other than routine maintenance, only repairs have been a replaced alternator, clutch, & steering gear. It looks/works great year-round, & is a blast to drive. Go Jeep.
Great purchase
I purchased this vehicle with the right mindset: a second vehicle, to enjoy off road and around town with my son. I've enjoyed every minute in my Jeep. Simple to maintain, reliable, and cheap to operate. Highway travel is kept to a minimum, due to road noise and bikini top. Other than that, this vehicle is a joy. Four cylinder is slow off the line, but more than adequate for casual driving and off pavement fun. Gas mileage is reasonable considering gearing (4.10's, stock) and boxy body style. If you're seeking a cheap, around town vehicle, or a great little convertible, it's hard to beat an older body style Jeep. And they're darn near impossible to stop off road.
Jeep Wrangler YJ
My Jeep YJ is great as a second car. If this will be your primary car, then you better be ready to turn int o a true Jeeper.
Love my Jeep!
Wanted a Jeep forever, got it for a second vehicle & mid-life crisis car. Put a new engine in it right after purchase so as not to worry about previous care (had 67000 miles on it, we've added close to that), this baby has been good to us! Nothing like taking that top off in the spring and waving to other Jeeps. Have an 8" lift on it, very bouncy and loud (soft top, hard doors & windows) but heater cooks us in winter. Not very powerful (tough to get over 65 MPH on freeway) but not built for freeway driving anyway! I almost bought another for every day but they're a bit small inside so one will have to do. I will always own at least one Jeep from now on!
King of summer
With the top and doors off, driving in the summer and on the beach, the Wrangler is second to none. This is purely a second car for fun because when you're on the highway, the noise level is high and you feel EVERY bump on the road. The 1995 S is very basic, which is what a Jeep should be. You can tweak it to your liking. It's a blast driving around town and in the sand on a hot summer day.
Very Fun!
I'm 17 and I was so lucky to get a Jeep Wrangler for my first car. They are so much fun to drive and one of the most versitile vehicles on the road. If it's hot, just pop off the top and doors, and if its cold, Jeep heaters are second to none, it will fry you. But overall I wouldn't trade it for anything else. All my friends think it's the coolest car. One reason is because of the sweet 33 by 30 inch tires I put on it with alloy rims. This SUV rocks!
yep
Excellent vehicle for most all conditions. Summer, top off. Camping, hunting, fishing, exploring the hills of the northwest.
95 Wrangler
I love my Jeep and will never part with it. Ranger (my Jeep's name; no girly names for this butch machine) has always served me well. I had an A/C hose leak while under warranty and they made me pay part of the repair, but I negotiated that. Replaced the belt and a headlight, but that's it! It still looks great inside and out. With my chrome package, it gets the stares and people say they can't believe it's 7 years old; looks like new! Joncj5(at) yahoo dot com.
Married to my Jeep (O|||||O)!
You already know what I'm going to say about this work of art; it is just awesome! I ordered it from the factory, waited 3 long months to get it. Fire enjine red with black hard top (have soft one too), 6cyl 4.0 automatic. Would have gotten str8 drive, but I lived in DC at the time and the stop-&- go traffic was bad. My next one will be a stick, but I'll never, and I mean NEVER let this one go. Restoring a late 60's model also. Please, don't refer to your Jeep as a "she". No "she" could be as rugged as my truck.

Great Jeep
This 1995 Wrangler is one of the neatest vehicles I've owned out of about 75 cars. Great on gas and the 4 cylinder has plenty of pep. Great in snow and also great summer vehicle.
95 Jeep YJ
Bought the Jeep for my wife. She feel in love. I have developed Jeep envy...big time. Want one too!! Fun to drive, enjoy the Jeep wave. A money pit for add-ons but fun shopping. At 60k, blew main seal in trans & 1500 bucks later...runs like a champ. Basic mode of transportation. Love the top down and the tunes up loud!! Gotta love it!! I really do!!!
