It's a Jeep, not a sports sedan.
I've been reading the reviews and it seems people weren't reading the sticker, or doing research. It's a small Jeep, not a Cherokee, or a Wrangler. I have the loaded Latitude, my only complaint is I didn'the get the removable roof. I live in central Wisconsin, snow, ice, trails, and mud. Freezing cold winter, and humid summers. My Renegade handles it all. There is body tilt, typical of a jeep. The transmission does shift frequently, but it was designed to. I have no problems with expressway on and off ramps, nor lack of confidence in passing. I have a Dodge Durango R/T, it's big and fast. I didn't buy a big and fast Jeep. I bought a fully capable Renegade, it has exceeded all of my expectations of a dependable safe Wisconsin driver. So please, everyone who complains this vehicle isnt, realize it for what it is, a 4X4 Jeep. I would highly recommend this vehicle for anyone who wants quality, dependable, and fun transportation.

Engine Explosion
Blown engine at 3600 miles on a 2016 Renegade! Wow, that's all I can say! Chrysler has the worst customer service in the world!! They don't care about the customer all about themselves. New engine, but petrified it's going to blow again, not sure what to do, as I will be more upside down then I already am!.

Love my Renegade!
We were looking for a sporty SUV to be able to get good gas, have a manual transmission and also fit a car seat for my 6 month old baby. We were torn between the Nissan Rogue and the Jeep Renegade. The jeep has a lot of head-room,so since we are a tall family that was a must! I was adamant on having a manual transmission, since that's all I have ever owned and plus they are just a ton of fun to drive. We went to a car show and the Jeep is what we picked out of all of the vehicles we looked at. The latitude version that we got did not have the cold weather package or navigation, but we did get the sunroof with removable panels! After owning this for a month, I still really love my jeep. It drives like a dream in the snow, it heats up really fast so I really don't find myself regretting not getting the cold weather package; the gas mileage is amazing (I average between 24-26mpg); the manual transmission is smooth and the uphill assist is pretty cool for those hills at stoplights. I am also really loving the sunroof, with the removable panels...this is a must and I use it all the time. I find myself wishing for Navigation, but nothing that my phone can't fix for now and I might end up changing out the system down the road. But the radio is really nice, and the Bluetooth set-up was really simple with my Microsoft phone, and it works great for everything that I need! My complaints: The cup holders. There is only two in the front seat area, and then angled ones in all of the doors that you can only use bottled drinks. The backseat has no cup holder except the door ones for bottles. This seems really inconvenient since sometimes I have more than two people in the car and if we go to Starbucks then only two people can use the cup holder for their drinks. My other complaint would have to be the e-brake. It's just a button...and it kind of weird's me out since it's not a lever that I am used to. It hasn't failed or anything bad, it's just something different that I need to get used to. The back trunk area is pretty small, but that's what you get with a smaller SUV, I am able to fit a small stroller with no issues in the back. Overall...I just need to find a fix for the cup-holder situation and it's perfect. I never thought that I could find a sporty SUV to drive my daughter around instead of a 'mom' SUV, Sedan or Van. *all of the hidden Jeep Easter-eggs are a cool addition too!!!

Cheap components and horrible customer service!
I bought this vehicle new from Tennessee Franklin Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram in September and it has been back for repairs on numerous occasions, with unsuccessful outcomes and extremely poor customer service. Noises during shifting of gears I was told are 'normal' for this vehicle and so they refused to look into a solution for this. The Uconnect unit has been replaced after previous botched attempts from service, the 911 and assist buttons work intermittently, the mph and outside temperature changes to metric on it's own, and the back up camera doesn't always work. I have contacted the owner several times and have not heard from him at all. I have contacted the General Manager and heard from him once when he first addressed the issues, however as the issues continue I haven't been successful in getting a response from this dealership. I'm extremely disappointed in the poor communication, and lack of customer service that came with this vehicle purchase.
