Love the size for my Granchildren and hauling chairs and sports equipment. It was important to me to get the cold weather package because I travel a lot and have a bad back and fibro. My grandkids said blue so I now own a gorgeous shade of blue with black trim rather than the neutral route. The Apps in the car is definitely loaded. Smooth ride. Love my Jeep Cherokee. I chose it over a nrand new Compass!! Good luck

Vehicle to tow 4 down

2022 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk 4dr SUV 4WD (3.2L 6cyl 9A)
1 of 2 people found this review helpful

Updated Review: Wife loves to drive her Jeep Cherokee. She likes the backup warning system, the lane centering and the large touch console. She does not like it is missing a CD player and missing a garage door opener. Passenger seat is not powered and the back lift gate is not powered. ( Dealer tried to tell us the reason for the missing items was they would cause or have problems if the Jeep was taken off road.) Jeep Cherokee was the only SUV in the OKC metro that could be towed flat. The Latitude LUX was the better riding, and had more sedan type features, but the Trailhawk was the only one with the proper transmission. Wife does not like the passenger seat, and there are items not in the Trailhawk, but the vehicle drives well.

I purchased a used 2021 Jeep Cherokee Limited 6 months ago. Its comfortable, not too high up. and has some very useful safety features that are standard equipment. It uses 87 octane gas and I get about 24 mpg in mixed driving. Definitely get the 6 cylinder, it has plenty of power. My only cons are it has a smallish gas tank and i dislike the lane keeping assist feature. Fortunately it is easily disabled. If you have the dual pane sunrood and it rattles there is a service bulletin. Your Jeep dealer will need to go through multiple steps to repair it but it should be no cost. Still love the car.

Unrepairable Under Warranty -- Trailhawk

Up until it broke, I'd have given it 5 stars. I was particularly pleased that my mileage exceeded the EPA rating by quite a bit. Then the PTU failed. The PTU has been a problem on these. But Fiat/Jeep etc. does not supply parts for a 2021 vehicle. I've been told not to drive it. The part "might" become available in November, but Jeep won't commit to that. It is under "engineering review." "Jeep Cares" (ha!) helpline closed my file. It has been sitting in the driveway for 6 months now, despite being under the extended powertrain warranty. Loaner? Nope. Estimated date of repair? Nope. Does the end date of the "engineering review" mean parts will be available after it sits for 8+ months? Jeep won't tell me. Can I backorder the part? Nope - Jeep says I can't backorder a part that is not available. (They've taken the 'order' out of "backorder.") All in all, a disastrous certified pre-owned purchase that I really regret. A co-worker, whose Gladiator needed an entire engine replacement at 4000 miles (3.6L version of my engine) told me Jeeps are rugged -- but not reliable. No kidding.

I’ve had my Cherokee Latitude plus for over 2 years now, have only had one issue which was the blower motor went out (thought that was odd for how young the car is), this was covered under my warranty and I only paid $110 out of pocket, but otherwise has been great. No other issues! Seats are very comfortable coming from a Chevy Malibu owner before this. The speakers are IMPECCABLE for just coming off the lot!! If you love bass, let me tell you cranked all the way up is even too much for my concert goer ears. This genuinely surprised but I ABSOLUTELY love it. Only other issue I’ve had is if your key fob battery is running low & you forget it in your car, sometimes it will actually lock the key in the car. This happened once to me, which shouldn’t have because the car has a feature to not allow it. I also love the apex protection plan! When you register it, you can download the app and see where your vehicle has been throughout the day AND where it was last seen in case it’s stolen. This app will also tell you if you need vehicle repairs. I’ve put on 60,000 miles and been out of town several times with this car and it’s very reliable. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

First time Jeep owner, bought my 22 V6 Limited at the end of 22 brand new. Now she’s at almost 23,000 miles and I have no complaints at all. The only things I would tweak are the auto start stop which I can’t stand(I shut it off every time getting into my truck) and just a little bit more space in the trunk. But it’s the perfect SUV and I’m beyond impressed with how safe it’s kept my family and I through New Jersey’s crazy weather.
