Latitude V6 FWD

I originally got this car after my previous car was totaled. Overall, I love my Jeep. It definitely handles turns and drives very well. I’ve owned a turbocharged car before and will never go back to turbo, it’s super slow in accelerating. My jeep accelerates great for a V6 SUV. Also has a very smooth ride. It also has plenty of room in the backseat for a child seat. My only complaints are the cloth seats and lack of button for opening the trunk. I will say I have put 68k miles on it and have just started hearing a thud every once in a while. I asked a friend that had a similar issue and was told it could be requiring some kind of update to the transmission. The battery has barely gone into protection mode, as in the Assisted off/on feature is turned off. The brakes are slightly starting to be heard. I have changed tires and given an alignment so far. I’ve been keeping up regularly with oil changes, so no issues there so far. MPG is really good, even without the assisted off/on. It would’ve been nice to at least have the remote start for the base model. The little rubber spring of the gas door did break off, so no clue as to how to repair that. I would definitely recommend this trim and car to someone who doesn’t mind not having the luxury features. It’s definitely dependable, good on gas, and comfortable for road trips 3-6 hours. Extra features like adding leather seats or a sunroof are optional with the dealership. $1,200 was what I was quoted for the leather seats.

Fun to drive

I traded an Infinity Q60 coup for the 2019 Jeep Cherokee. It was just as much fun to drive and had a panoramic sun roof instead of the convertible. The Jeep is quieter with the top open than the Infiniti with the top down. Also cheaper to operate and maintain. A good car that compares to the Infiniti? YES!!

Since we acquired this unit (2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude) in Dec of 2018, we experienced 3 times of excessive oil consumption and the unit stop twice while driving due to almost emptied of engine oil. We complained this to the dealership and said they found nothing about this abnormality. This is the first and last for Jeep.lately I found out that owners of this unit has a class suit with the manufacturers from contact@fcatigersharksettlement.com. the dealership did not inform us about this case.
