Leased it in September of 2000. Tremendous ability in the snow but that's about it. Had front brake rotors replaced at 6000 miles due to warping. Then had new rotors resurfaced at 17,000 miles due to warping. Nobody at the dealership can tell me why this vehicle is burning up front rotors. I have an annoying whine coming from the transmission area but the dealership says that's normal. Thank God it's a 3 year lease with a waranty. Looking forward to getting rid of it.

Toughest and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, foreign or domestic. Had to sell it at 150,000 miles so I could get my wife a new vehicle, but it was still going strong. Tough, reliable and simple.

This jeep is excellent for off road and climbing over 15inch rocks and then going down highway nice ride just the right automoble for living in New England. the anly thing is if you use reg. gas it get about 15 miles to a gallon if you put in super you get about 20 mpg. so I send a little more but get 30%better gas mileage

FIRST TIME JEEP OWNER ALONG WITH TOYOTA COROLLA.LOVE MY JEEP AS MUCH AS I LOVE MY TOYOTA.ITS MORE TRUCK THAN CAR SO RIDE IS ROUGH IN TOWN BUT GREAT ON A TRIP.FOR MORE THEN TWO PEOPLE ITS A LITTLE CRAMPY.IT HAS ALOT OF ROAD NOISE,TENDS TO SLIDE IF WET OUT,GAS MILEAGE NOT VERY GOOD...BETTER GAS MILEAGE WITH MOPAR OIL FILTER..WANTED DEPENDABILITY FOR EARLY MORNING WORK HOURS AND IT HAS NOT LET ME DOWN,ESP IN DEEP SNOW.WISH SPARE TIRE WAS NOT IN CARGO SPACE.HAVE HAD IT A YEAR NOW WITH NO PROBLEMS.CASSETTE PLAYER WORKS GREAT.WITH PROPER MAINTENANCE MY JEEP SHOULD OUTLIVE ME.!!

This is the first Jeep I have ever owned and I plan on keeping it for a long time. It has plenty of power to pull my boat around through the hills and the gas mileage is a respectable 20 MPG on the interstate. I am 6 foot tall and the seat and ride are very comfortable compared to some other SUV's I've been in. This is a good driving 4X4 for the money, too bad they quit making them.
