Used 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4dr SUV 4WD Consumer Reviews
1992 Jeep Cherokee 4WD
I just bought this Jeep Cherokee and even though it has high miles on it, I still got it. I have had to replace the front axel u-joints and bearings. I put in a new 7lb radiator cap since the old one was leaking. My wife has helped me to find a used drivers seat for it and we like this tough Jeep. I will replace the mirrors and get the cup holders for the console. I like the 4WD and tow package. It will be in the family until it quits. Saved it from a future CFC since it was a trade in at the dealer. Like the inline 6 with 4.0L engine. Room inside and no complaints. Ride's good and dependable. Will upgrade parts as needed. All manual and no power seats or doors. Did not want them anyway.
It's a Jeep thing
I love my Jeep. I love the style and it is fairly comfortable for the off- road abilities it posesses. As long as you have the 4.0L it has awesome power and can take any other SUV out there in it's year range. I installed a 2" lift in mine and put some 235/75 Bridgestone Duelers on; it goes anywhere. I will have a lot of fun this winter pulling my friends cars out of the snow.

Its a Jeep thing
I bought this Jeep as my first vehicle and I love it. I put a 2" lift on and 30X9.5" tires and love the off-road capability. I live in Michigan and this thing crawls through the snow without a problem. I've driven on some really bad roads already in my driving experiences and the Jeep handles superbly. I would recommend a Jeep to anyone who wants safety/reliability and fair power.
Can't part with it
This car has taken me over plenty of bad roads, snowy summits, and bad relationships!! 206k miles and still going strong. No major repairs ever. Just the usual stuff. Engine is bullet proof. Cup holders and a split back seat would be the only improvement. Not important enough to trade in yet. Can't imagine it being destroyed with the cash for clunkers program. It hauls my bikes, skis, and me to all of my fun weekends. Big enough and fits in my garage better than the newer SUVs.
awesome
I just bought this jeep from a friend and I love it. Great power off the mark and it looks great. I have a sunroof, leather, and full options. It looks really sharp. The only thing wrong is a leaking seal on the transfer case, which isn't a big deal to fix. Whatever you do don't get your brakes fixed at Meineke...they suck!
