Used 2005 Jaguar X-Type Consumer Reviews
Wagon is superior to x-type sedan
This is second x-type (first was sedan)- this is an awesome car, and we love driving it- great power, great handling, and love the style. It's roomier than the sedan (in the back) and the storage capacity is wonderful. The styling is excellent, and it sets you apart from the crowd. Dealership is great to work with, and service is excellent. Highly recommend this car as it comes with all comforts without the confusion of myriad of option packages. What A Disaster!
Please! I beg you to think twice before buying an X type. I have had it for 3 months... and it has been nothing but a disaster! The remotes don't work, the gas tank does not open!! The windows are constantly breaking and get stuck in one position. The plastic buttons on the inside break off!!! Stay as far away as you can!!!!

Great Value
This car has not only been fun to drive but a great value as well. The trunk is huge. However the back seat is very tight with limited legroom and headroom for passengers and somewhat difficult to enter/exit.

Excellent auto! Reliable & great performance!
My second Jag
My first JAG was an XJ8, I really wanted an S-Model, however I did not like the grill. I also think the interior of the X-type is just as nice as the S-type, except for the steering wheel, which I have ordered the wood grain finished one from the dealer. The only thing that I don't like is that the rear seating leg area is too short. Overall the car is as sweet as they get.
