Luxury
I feel my Infiniti QX80 is a luxury vehicle!!! I’m driving around 3 children all day in it, and I feel safe and secure. This is my second one and I only am on my second one because I traded my other one in for a newer model. I had zero problems with the other one after owning it for 3 years.

Inferior quality
When starts to pullout of garage in am motor revs up before pulling out !! ! dealer says that is standard for this car !!!!!!! When turning the steering wheel either way you feel it shudder when turning!!!! Dealer says the tire tread is causing that and they don’t warranty tires !!!!!!! Car has 2200miles on it !!!!! And last the rear axle Assy. Started to howl and they say they can’t tell where the noise is coming from and won’t repair any of these issues. No wonder their sales are down 50%

Qx56 2011 built for comfort
I purchased my 2011 QX56 as a used vehicle. This was my 1st Infiniti and I generally enjoyed all it has to offer. The only problem I have with this SUV is the battery drain. If the vehicle sits for 3-4 days without a start, the battery is dead! I've taken the vehicle to the dealer in CT, but they can't find a problem. However, the owner's manual does suggest that the battery will drain if the navigation system is not turned off. ( if the suv is off, doesnt everything turn off?) The problem, there's no option to turn it completely off. You can only turn off the screen, but the system is still running. I'm interested in purchasing the QX 80, but I hope they've fixed the battery drain problem!

Very dissatisfied with this SUV.
I purchased this SUV around Christmas of 2019 used with only 1200 miles on it. They claim the previous owner was a nurse who had to park in a parking garage every day and that is why she sold it. I now wonder if she just disliked it as much as I do. I agree with all the other reviews that the cruise control is concerning. On the slightest incline the RPMs rev and stay up until the incline has passed. This causes the car to jerk and the engine is extremely loud. The backup camera at night is horrible! I can't see anything out of of it. Of course the Infiniti shop says it's normal. The technology in this car is not user friendly. My last car was a Honda Odyssey. To me their front panel was easy to navigate and just made sense. Nothing about this Infiniti's control panel makes sense. I have had the car over a year now and still don't have it all figured out. Then there are the little things that drive me crazy daily. The front cupholders are too big. This is a huge design flaw. Any time I go to accelerate the cups fly forward. I have to hold them as I pull out into traffic. I have asked Infiniti if they sell inserts which they do not. They did say this is a common complaint. I don't understand how the 2nd row cupholders have adjustable cupholders and not the front! The 3rd row seats are on a switch. They are SO SLOW to fold down or bring up. I also don't like that they don't fold flat. Lastly, the 2nd row seats don't move. I didn't notice this when shopping for the car. I wish I would have. The 2nd row is so roomy for your passengers but if you have to put adults in the 3rd row, they have to sit with their knees sideways. To me that's another huge design flaw.
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BUYING ONE
Had this vehicle for about 11,000 miles, 5,200 of that was 1 road trip. Performance there is none other than a strong motor and smooth transmission. Handling it feels likes it is going to roll over just taking corners at recommended speeds because it is so top heavy (3-star rollover rating). The ride quality is very smooth until the road gets rough, and it is almost scary to drive. With hard bumps the wheels bounce so hard the wheel loses contact with the road. Makes for a very unpredictable ride especially when cornering. Interior is very nice and very comfortable, except for the HVAC control of the vehicle. You are never comfortable on auto because the fan is always blowing too hard. You are constantly messing with it to stay comfortable. The electronics is by far the worst I have ever encountered. The Apple Car Play can be hit or miss sometimes and the technology in the infotainment system is adequate at best. It is very slow on startup and sometime takes several seconds to start working. Then there are the sometimes-confusing double touch screens. Both sharing in the same control sometimes and very cumbersome to navigate thought the different options and controls. It's almost like there is too much to it. Storage is great as there is a lot, but the back of the vehicle is not flat, it is slopped towards the back of the vehicle, so on long road trips with lots of things stored everything falls back towards the hatch so evetime you stop to get something stuff falls out. Then there is the 3rd row seats. If you have a lot of extra time on your hands these seats are great. Very slow to open and close. Now there is the gas mileage. Now I know what you are saying you don't by this vehicle for the mileage but let's be somewhat realistic. Maybe 8 MPG in town and 14 on the highway. This is 2021 and there is no efficiency built into the motor. No cylinder deactivation no nothing. So, if you like a lot of power and torque and don't mind $100 every time you fill up this is a great vehicle for you. Last the 4-wheel drive. All I have to say is buy some good winter tires if you plan on driving in snowy conditions. With the factory all seasons on this vehicle it will scare you in the winter. Had a chance to drive this in several heavy snowstorms here in CO and it is not my choice for that at all. Needless today I traded this in, in less then 7 months. There is no possible way this vehicle warrants this price tag for 80 k you should be blown away, feel safe with your family in it and I was not at all with this vehicle.
