2025 Hyundai Tucson Consumer Reviews

Mostly great with a few irritating flaws
This hybrid is close to perfect with a few frustrating flaws that could be corrected (I believe) with software updates. I had a 2018 Tucson before this and the 2025 hybrid feels like an entirely different vehicle in a good way. Hybrid learning curve: not a pro or con, but hybrids do feel different. They make noises and systems switch over from gas to electric throughout the drive and it takes some getting used to. Pros - handling is good - better gas mileage than non-hybrids - comfy but still sleek styling and love the cashmere bronze color I got - the massive screen seemed crazy at first, but quickly got used to it and CarPlay works great Cons - the camera facing the driver can’t be turned off and it affects cruise control. I hate both the invasion of privacy and the interference with cruise control. I often drive on long roadtrips with my left hand at 1pm on the steering wheel because it’s comfortable. Well that blocks the camera so cruise control is disabled. I hate it and this was the #1 reason I didn’t give 5 stars. - fuel efficiency is not as good as other hybrids - can’t lock the doors using the door lock button when getting out of the car. For 13 years, this is how I locked my car when leaving it - hit the button on the door, close the door. Now I have to wait until all doors are closed and use the remote or the touch thing on the outside of the car. This is both slower and inconvenient.
Love my Tuscon
Love my 2025 Tuscon. Best car I’ve had in years! Rides so smoothly, and the gas mileage is great. I would highly recommend Hyundai of Cookeville to everyone. The salesman Clint Spivey was great to explain all the features on the car. Everyone was helpful and very polite.

Love all the new safety features
The Tucson is a smooth ride, with plenty of power for rural driving. It is quiet, and the sound system is excellent. I'm still learning the new features, The cruise control is easy to set and adjust, and I like the symbols on the dash that show the speed limit, and if you are in a school speed zone. You can set the car so it won't go past the speed limit.

Nice, small car
I liked the car a lot and had done quite a bit of research prior to driving. Loaded with features. Smooth drive. Handsome look. The seats were just a bit too narrow for our old, spreading bottoms! And, while the price was quite reasonable, I decided I should by used instead and spend $18,000 less during these precarious economic times.
