Dissapoint
I bought the 2011 Sonata Limited used in 2012 with 7700 miles on it. It is by the worse car I've ever owned and that includes car all the way back to the 1960's. Fifteen recalls, two broken coils springs, subframe assembly and controls needed to be replaced, starter, bad paint, two calipers seized, four emissions codes and that just off the top of my head. I take excellent care of my cars. My other car is a 1994 3000GT that I bought in 1996. Everyone thinks it new.
Cheap Parts
The price is good on the vehicle but it has a lot of issues. I have had 4 recalls, including one on the engine. A lever in the starter will probably break because it;s made out of plastic. GET READY TO PAY A FORTUNE ON MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS!

Excellent vehicle
Just bought a used 2011 SE with 29K miles and so far I really like this car. It has great exterior design, the interior feels well built and the materials do not feel cheap at all. The features are really nice and ride comfort is great for my standards. The only concern I had was about the left pull I read so much about, so when I test drove this vehicle, I paid the most attention to this. Either the issue was fixed previously or it never had it because at 70-75 mph it never pulled to any side.
anwsome car
Great vehicle has all the comforts for me. Roomy fast great looking chose it over Honda Accord. October 12, 2017. Still love my vehicle 116,800 miles. Have done just regular maintenance, 475 miles in little more than 3/4 tank. Very comfortable ride.

A Disappointment
I was very excited when I purchased my Sonata, but soon was disappointed when I realized that Hyundai put all its efforts into the exterior design and the bells and whistles, and not into the design of the undercarriage or quality of the materials used there. The car seemed to bottom out on potholes or dips in the road, which was just a nuisance until I hit a pothole/dip in the road at less than 20 mph, causing the splash shield to bend the radiator support. The repair cost over $1,300--Hyundai refused to acknowledge there is a problem with the car design/materials, and the dealer, Fitzgerald Hyundai, was no better. I got rid of the car, as it's impossible to avoid every pothole forever.
