25,000 miles then expect to pay.

After 25,000 miles I brought my 2011 Sonata in for service as the engine light was on. At this time I was told I needed new front brakes and tires. I called Hyundai customer service on this and explained to them that I have leased cars for many years and have never had the brakes or tires needing replacement and that one of the reasons I lease every 3 years is so I don't have to deal with the high cost of these kind of repairs. I was told by Hyundai customer service that these repairs were necessary due to " normal wear and tear" my response to them was that I felt this was ridiculous, that if I drive my Sonata normal, after 25,000 miles expect to spend $600 to $700 for brakes and tires.

Just took delivery of a 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE Pearl White. Sticker-$23,650-Options-Pearl White Paint-$200, Floor Mats $100, IPod Cable-$35. Looked at Accord EX and Camry SE. Car is far superior to both, larger, better equiped, XM Radio Standard. Offered a unbelievable deal on the Camry SE, but the new Sonata is a much nicer and better equipped car.

Worst Car Ever

Purchasing this car is the worst decision we ever made. Upon taking delivery and driving the car home I noticed the steering is crooked to track the car straight. My husband asked if I wanted to take the car back and since I worked at a car dealership I said no and had faith Hyundai could fix it and to this day they still haven't and can't give a reason why. The steering wheel/column also vibrates/rattles when going over bumps in the road. They've replaced the column and rack numerous times and it never fixes the problem. We contacted Hyundai corporate and they weren't even interested in trying to do anything to make us happy customers. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money.

The price is good on the vehicle but it has a lot of issues. I have had 4 recalls, including one on the engine. A lever in the starter will probably break because it;s made out of plastic. GET READY TO PAY A FORTUNE ON MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS!

I was looking for a car to replace my Acura TL. I was looking for something affordable that had alot of options that wouldn't cost a fortune. Stopped by the Hyundai dealership and loved the new style of the Sonata. Drove it to my wife's office and had her drive it back to the dealership. She is a car snob and always made fun of Hyundai's so I figured it was a no go. She Loved the car and we bought it that night. We have over 6000 miles on the car with no issues. If I had it to do over again the only thing I would change is purchase the 2.0 turbo (wasn't available at time of purchase). Previous cars owned C230 Mercedes, Infinity G35, Buick Enclave, 2008 Chevy Malibu, 2006 Chevy ImpalaSS.
