2024 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 8AM)

We bought our 2024 XRT in June of 2024. We loved everything about the car until September... The first issue we had was after my wife remotely started the car. Her Sante Fe lunged forward with nobody in the car while my 4 year old daughter was 3 feet from the front end of the vehicle while walking around to get in. The car was scheduled for a dealership visit to remedy this after a recall due to the WRONG code being put into the vehicle's computer system during manufacturing. I will admit that problem has not occurred since. However, that was the first of many problems. In September, shortly after a dealership visit for an oil change and recall repairs, our car became completely unreliable. It went haywire with every dash light on, power steering loss and the car would not turn off. The dealership had to call a tow truck to pick it up. They gave us the run around for a couple months before saying it was fixed in late November. We pick up the car and 48 hours later... Same issue. The car went back to the shop and as Christmas approached I reached out to the loaner department to let them know I needed a 4 wheel drive vehicle as that is what we purchased. We had a trip to Iowa to see family and wanted the 4x4 in case of snowy roads. They informed me that loaners were not supposed to leave the state. I asked to speak with a manager at this point and shortly after this, I received a call that our car was ready. Obviously, I was skeptical and asked to speak to the GM as I didn't trust taking that car on a 1,000 mile+ plus journey immediately after it's been in the shop for 3 months. Thankfully(so I thought) the GM made an exception and gave us a brand new 2025 Sante Fe XRT as a loaner to take to Iowa. Unfortunately that car broke down on the way to Iowa. The dealership rented us a vehicle to finish our trip and come back home in. Upon returning home, we picked up our car. We were able to drive it about 5 weeks before the same problem happened again and then again a couple weeks later and again a couple weeks after that. Each time the dealership told us the car was fixed. We have now owned the car for 9 months and we have had the car in drivable condition for approximately half of that time. We have taken steps towards a lemon law claim through Hyundai. Unfortunately, they have told us that we do not qualify. Additionally, the mentioned the possibility of Hyundai buying the car back in an act of good faith. Apparently they do not believe we deserve that either. We have spend countless hours and money on fuel dealing with this mess. In total we have been in 6 different loaner vehicles. Every time we go to the dealership is a minimum of 3 hours of our time wasted when you include our drive time to and from the dealership. DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI!

Bought the XRT. Fit and finish are outstanding. Inside materials are high quality. Great look and very comfortable seats. Roomy. Tech is really good with wireless charging and Apple and Android car play wireless. Only critical change would be the gear shift location as steering wheel has to be in particular position to see gear selection. Very happy with purchase.

Spur-of-the-Moment Santa Fe

Saw the new body design and it brought me back to my younger days with my first SUV, a 1986 Isuzu Trroper II LS. Tall, wide, and boxy, with great driver's visibility, this Santa Fe is an excellent vehicle for passengers as well as anything you need to haul from the big box stores or Home Depot . The Santa Fe has plenty of power from its 2.5 liter turbo four, and the 8 speed Auto gets you up to speed quickly and smoothly. The ride is comfortable, not harsh, but also not floaty. Material quality is superb, almost as nice as the luxury brands market. Every bit of technology you'd want is built-in, too much to list here, so read the specifications and standard features. UPDATE: It's been 6 months, and about 2000 miles...yeah, I don't drive it a lot. The Santa Fe has been recalled twice for a couple of minor issues, but there have been 2 repair issues that took the vehicle out of service for 3 weeks. First was a bad front radar sensor that took over a week and a few days just to diagnose, and then a few days to repair. The second was a bad radio which took the media screen out of operation and took over a week to replace. Parts availability was a problem. Shifting with the dual clutch auto can be a bit rough at times, and I'm hearing that these transmissions aren't the most reliable. With these issues, I've had to reduce my rating and I'm very apprehensive about future reliability

This truck has all the creature comforts you could possibly want, completely and beautifully redesigned in my opinion. Its appealing and unique look turns heads wherever I go. The seats are a joy to sit in, and it boasts a fast and powerful turbocharged engine while maintaining an impressively quiet cabin. It features all the tech anyone could ever want, including an amazing camera system. The ride is silky smooth, and the interior is so beautiful it amazes me every time I enter it. The wonderful Bose 12-speaker sound system is a delight. With 7 seats available and ample storage when the third row is down, it offers both space and versatility. Plus, it comes with the best warranty in the business for peace of mind. What else could you ever want? The Santa Fe checks all the boxes for the price. After comparing it to other SUVs like the Honda Pilot, Kia Sorento, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Toyota Highlander, the choice was clear. My advice: go test drive it and experience it for yourself. I am confident you will come to the same conclusion I have.

2024 Santa Fe all the way

2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 4dr SUV (2.5L 4cyl Turbo 8AM)

I chose this car as it had the biggest bang for the buck. Very Posh interior with two 12 inch screens next to each other that provide wireless smart phone connectivity and charging. Great safety features including brake assist, lane assist front and rear cameras and warnings. The rear view mirror can activate a rear camera that displays on the mirror with an unobstructed view of traffic. The new exterior design is eye catching with some similarities to the Range Rover for far less money. It drives smoothly with plenty of comfort features. In addition its 277 HP 4cyl turbo engine provides enough power to get on and off highways and rides remarkably quiet. All of this on regular gas. The Calligraphy model has numerous features included I strongly recommend the 2024 Santa Fe
