New ride
Nice ride, great price, plenty of geewhiz features.
We love it
Great ride and performance. Recorded 28.3 mpg on a trip. Infotainment is a little quirky but manageable. Really pleased so far. Purchased January 2025.

Terrible vehicle and Hyundai doesn't care
I leased a 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate Call, and it has been nothing short of a disaster. Within the first few months, the transmission began slipping, shuddering, and surging — making driving unpredictable and unsafe. Despite multiple dealership visits, software updates, and even a full transmission replacement, the issues persist. Since the transmission was replaced, the vehicle has stalled unexpectedly, and now the driver’s display and HUD randomly black out while driving. Add to that a horn that failed multiple times, buttons on the power driver's seat that no longer work, a malfunctioning auto start/stop system, and strange noises after rain — and you’ve got a vehicle that feels like it’s falling apart before it even hits 15,000 km. I’ve contacted the dealership numerous times, even appealed to their empathy, but have received no meaningful resolution. I contacted Hyundai Canada - they told me to deal with the dealership. This car is unreliable, unsafe, and a constant source of stress. I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone — not even as a rental. Save yourself the headache. Look elsewhere.

Avoid the 2024 Santa Fe Hybrid
My 2024 Sante Fe Limited Hybrid was great for the first 2K miles then things started to go bad with the battery and electrical system. Same story as several others with the battery draining for no reason, diagnostics code for brakes, accidence avoidance, and power steering preventing my car from driving and the check engine light is on 100% of the time. Also, the rear power liftgate will intermittently not work to open or close the liftgate. Dealership has had the car twice and claims they can't find anything wrong. I have shared the photos with them, and now have to wait 3 weeks until they have an opening to take another look. By far the worst experience I have ever had with buying a new car.
