Used 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Consumer Reviews
Stay away from the 2.0T
have the 2.0T premium coupe. I've had it for almost 5 months. Beautiful car, fast car, love the navigation (hate the ipod interface), comfy car in the front seats, BUT The sticker of 20/30 mpg is a complete lie. You would have to be going downhill all the time to come close to either of those numbers. When I drive like a grandpa I MIGHT get 16.5mpg in town and 24mpg on the highway. The 5 speed doesnt seem sufficient. ALSO, the T in 2.0T is for Turbo and Turbos use supreme gas only. Personally with the trash gas mileage, slow to shift paddle shifters, crap iPod interface, and supreme gas, I hate that I bought this car and wish I had gone with another.
Comfortable for the Long Haul
I Purchased mine on 06/20/2009. I drive 90 miles a day round trip. I find the ride very comfortable and relaxing to drive. It performs just like or better than my XJS Jaguar ever did. The handling on the curves, is like riding on a rail. I find the acceleration is there everytime you hit the gas. No slow response from the engine, it's up and running before you know it. I do recommend when you buy this car you better buy a radar detector, because you get lost with speed of the car and feel as if your not traveling at a high rate of speed, even though, you really are. It's a must buy if you like a fast running, head turning, hand waving, second look fun driving car. And yes it's a HYUNDAI.

Genesis Coupe 2.0T
Just picked up at the dealer yesterday, traded in a 2009 Sonata, the Sonata is a well made luxery family sedan but when my new Genesis Coupe turned the corner I said to my wife this is a Hyundai? From first glimpse you can tell this car is special. Turn the key and the motor purrs like a big cat. It handles like a dream and stops on a dime. This car is for anyone who ever wanted a nice sports car without the big ticket price. Hyundai has scored a winner here!
Good car
Better than the Tiburon only problems pin holes in tran cooler other wise no problems ,fun to drive plan on keeping it. Grew up driving mopar muscle , then supras and now this.
Driving the first Genesis Coupe in town
Happened to be on the lot when this one arrived at local dealership. Looking for replacement of Elantra totaled this week. It catches your eye immediately. First thoughts, this isn't a Hyundai, but do the walk around and you know. They have really taken this one up a notch. This is the seventh Hyundai for our family and my son has a Tibaron GT. The Tibaron is great but really doesn't compare to the Coupe as far as I am concerned. Drivability is excellent and exciting. Front seat comfort is great and back really isn't terrible, what you'd find in any coupe. As a female I am loving the thought that I know what I've got under me. Drive one, you'll see! Parents, drive before you buy for a child
