Hyundai Elantra has serious records of engine issu
Beware that some models of Hyundai (Elantra) are particularly very prone to engine malfunction and just engine self destruction. My 2016 Elantra's engine malfunction pushed a hole on the side of the block. Took it to the dealer, 2 weeks later they tell me corporate Hyundai declined warranty repair because of maintenance neglect. We maintained the car and did all oil changes every 3k miles. To declined based on neglect is the most unfair excuse not to get it repaired. I will not rest until Hyundai owns the problem and gets it fixed. Engine failure is a far more common issue they've had as I do my research on the internet. It seems like my issue could warrant a recall yet Hyundai chooses to decline the repair. It has 88,009 miles. I don't know what to do, this is so unfair...
