Happy with my purchase.
I am a big man and this car is super comfortable. I purchased for 15500 after 2.75k down. That included two dealer addons. It has navigation, steering wheel adjustment, a good sound system, good storage, and it looks good. I have gotten 44mpg but average around 40 highway. Sometimes when it shifts it is a little edgy but that is really my only complaint and it is a minor one. Visibility and comfort is excellent. I highly recommend this vehicle. Plus the 100k warranty is nice.

Sport - the need for speed
Love the looks and performance of the Sport model. The Sport trim just flat out looks better than the other trims. The Elantra Sport may be the best looking small car on the market today. Some have complained about the 2017's DCT (7 speed auto), but I've found the operation of the 2018's as smooth as butter. Go drive one for yourself. The auto is faster than the manual in the Sport trim, and the Sport is WAY faster than the other models. Steering feels quick. Auto trans rips off quick shifts when needed. Also, seem to be getting better than expected mpg's - around 38 on my all highway commute. No need for nav - standard Apple Car Play takes care of that. Ride may be a little too firm for some people's taste. Only wish it had a driver's power seat - that's it.

Hyundai has come a LONG way
AWESOME CAR, I rented an Elantra when I was on vacation. I absolutely fell in love. When I entered the vehicle the interior was beautiful. It was equipped with the large touch screen, Apple Play and everything was easy to figure out. I like the fact that the touch screen is integrated into the dashboard, not plopped on top like some other cars. As for the pickup, Phenomenal even in eco mode. The car has a ton of pick up, switch to sport mode and away you go. I’ve been averaging about 28 mpg with mostly short trips. It is quiet while on the highway. and the A/C is great, for someone who is always hot, I actually have to turn this one down a bit because I’m cold :-) All in all a great car, just watch out for the way most dealers play with the numbers and try to screw you over. My dealer tried to steal my trade and then add the balance of my old note to the new one. Nice huh? 3/10/21 - Still loving my Elantra. The Apple play and all the other features are great. Would buy another one they are awesome. 9-10-22 STILL AWESOME

This car is still new to me....but!
Just got this car and am already impressed. Got almost 40 mpg coming home from the dealer. Now when I put it in sport that number drops significantly. Now this isn't a "sports" car but it sticks to the road nicely while still riding quite comfortably. This car is a Jack of all trades. You can drive it in eco and it doesn't feel like a gimmick, unlike some cars. It's sporty enough to fuel the man in me but comfortable enough to please the old man in me.
