I have had five sports cars over my 40 plus years of driving and this S2K is by far the best overall driving machine I have ever had the pleasure of operating.
If you like to drive a car.....

I found a Laguna blue 2007, 73k miles listed on 'True Car' for $18,400 by Alpha Motorsports in Manassas Virginia, just outside DC. Carfax.... clean title, 2 owners, 2 right front accidents, no air bag deployment. K&N intake and HKS exhaust system, rear factory spoiler. This was the first time I flew somewhere to look at a car, not knowing the seller or the car, at a dealership. Beautiful car, clean, paint and leather seats looked almost prefect, new top, good tires. Took the car for a test drive, then put it up in the air to check the collision repair for any frame damage, no damage found...very clean undercarriage, no rust, wheel bearings all felt good, no engine or transmission leaks, axle boots good. The only problem I found was the car was going to need new brake rotors/pads front and rear in the next 2000 miles. They brought the price down to $18,000. So I bought the car and drove it back to Florida, non-stop, except for gas,18 hour drive, 912 miles. I did some upgrades....... slotted and drilled rotors, aluminum radiator, oil cooler, timing chain tensioner, strut bar, Eibach springs, factory lip spoiler, and carbon fiber wrap on some interior trim....Easy to work on, parts are reasonably priced, and it's reliable .....a solid well balanced car, probably the best all around car I've ever owned, great brakes, handles great, not the fastest car I've owned, but it has a nice balance of power and handling. It's definitely a car that was designed by someone that loved to drive and feel the road. Update..... It's 6 years and another 14k miles,, since the purchase of the S2000, and I feel even better about the car. Super reliable, just one minor fix. The radiator temperature sensor died. With an OBD-2 code scanner it was an easy problem to diagnose and fix. The value for the S2000 keeps going up....So if you're thinking of buying one, don't wait too long! Thank you Shigeru Uehara for designing such a great affordable sports car!

I have previously own Porsche boxter and was not sure about this trade. I'm so glad I did. This car is a great performer on long highway trips. Great pick up and aerodynamic style really performs well cutting thru air flow. Can get bit of interior upgrade, power windows, trunk opener all can be moved to center console for easy access. Top roof can used more padding. Better stereo system and more comfortable padding for car seat should be standard at this price. This car has so many potentials Honda need to continiue production and make small improvements for future models without any major price alterations. My advice, buy this car. Learn to drive it and you will be satisfied.

What a terrific car. If you are looking for comfort this may not be the car for you, at least if you are a tall or large person. Otherwise it is one of the best.

I always wanted to have an S2k & when they said that they're gonna stop selling in a year or two I decided to get one. I've always driven automatic and I was nervous when I test drove this car. But it easy to drive this car. If the engine dies, one push of a button and you're back in business. The top goes up and down pretty fast. The seats are comfy. It doesn't have a lot of oohs and aahs as far as features are concerned (uber sound sys etc). But I pretty much knew about it before I bought the car. And the engine! I have to always check myself because they just passed a law in VA about speeding 20 miles over. It's gonna hurt. I'm gonna keep this car even if I decide to get another car.
