Used 2020 Honda Ridgeline Consumer Reviews
Nice vehicle. 2020 Ridgeline Black Edition
I have not had it long enough to make an informed rating, I will say that the vehicle has a very nice ride. I’m still adjusting to the push button shifting. One thing that I will say is the sport mode gives the Ridgeline a nice sound. So far my only complaint is that for the amount of money spent to purchase the vehicle, I feel that the tailgate should come with a locking mechanism. Yes the tailgate does not lock. I will update this post from time to time. The four star rating is because I have not owned it long enough

BUYER BEWARE
Do not purchase any Honda Ridgeline vehicle unless you don't mind an obnoxious intermittent motor noise coming from the dash board that Honda knows about but either refuses/can't fix. The factory claims it is a "characteristic of the vehicle" that the dealerships are aware of and yet AutoNation Honda in Tucson sold it without disclosing that this annoying noise occurs. Since purchasing, I have had other people tell me they have had the same noise as far back as 2009. (maybe why it was off the market for a while). Don't be fooled by the nice drive and gas mileage--the noise will drive you crazy as it becomes more frequent and louder. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Drives beautifully, comfortable, cabin is well appointed. The electronic interface is beyond frustrating and the owner's manual is useless. If you buy one, don't use the key fob to save settings; if you do, you can not cancel settings, that in my case show the ground while backing up- totally useless. The avoidance system activates without notice and shakes the front wheels, which is disconcerting at any speed. The bed cover is almost useless as it does not fold up completely; the useable space is less than 3 feet. This is not a pickup truck, it is a suburban van with limited bed space and terrible electronic controls. I plan to sell my 2020 ridgeline and buy another GMC 1500. I need a real pickup truck.

Zombie windows
I bought the E-trim level new in Jan 2020. Since then, the windows open, including the sunroof, on their own from time to time. This happens when I lock the truck using the key fob. I've been lucky that this hasn't happened during a rainstorm as it would be quite a mess if rain entered through the open roof and side windows. Honda's answer, beyond a shrug, is to not put the key fob in my pocket after locking the truck. So, I guess I'm just supposed to carry the fob around in my hand?! It's not a practical solution. For this reason alone, I would not buy another Ridgeline.
