My 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E is a fantastic drive. It feels like driving a car, but with the capabilities of a truck. It may not tow as much as other trucks it size. But the payload is just the same. And it's actually 4 inches wider, which makes for lots of comfort in the cab. The stereo system is as good as any home sound system, with 540 Watts and a subwoofer. The extra compartment underneath the bed Is amazing and great for tailgating. This is one of the best smaller trucks there is although small is relative. It has great acceleration and great handling. Love it,! Cheers,!

Safety features a hazard!

Love the Ridgeline after ten months at an average 24mpg over 9500 miles of mixed driving and light towing. However I detest the so called safety features and push button shift. On the highway if a little slush from a passing car gets on the radar sender the dash lights up like Christmas and warns of a variety of system failures and cancels the cruse. Frequently the collision avoidance will shake the wheel and brake as a car approaches around a curve in the opposing direction. Dangerous in the winter as it will brake in the wrong places on occasion. The start stop is just a pain particularly at momentary stops where you want to turn as you start out, as the lack of power steering for just that moment can disrupt the normal flow of events. All of these should be able to be disabled on a one time basis not as some are each time you start the vehicle. Adaptive cruse can be switched to standard cruse and some of these things managed. The worst part is I'll bet all the newer cars have these expensive disruptive pains promoted as wonderful. They are not ready for prime time regardless of the representations of the companies.

Brilliant Truck, Has Flaws, Love the Appearance!

My 2020 Honda Ridgeline RTL-E is a well built vehicle however it has flaws that impact its desirability. Pros: Believe the reviews that say this is all the truck you need for 99.9% of all your mid-sized truck needs. Payload is almost 1600 lbs. I can fit 1.5 yards of bark in the truck bed. The truck is quiet, has excellent power and handles superbly. Road traction is quite good during wet and snowy conditions. 2024 Update-I still really like the appearance of this truck. Cons: The Honda Sensing technology is marginal on this vehicle. I’m experiencing problems with the Adaptive Cruise Control throttle mapping set for too slow of a response, multiple false brake alerts, false lane keeping assists alerts, automatic headlight dimming is unusable except on flat, level ground.

I test drove most mid size truck options and the Ridgeline won hands down. The drive experience far exceeds that of the competitors. Perfect truck for what most trucks actually get used for.
