Used 2006 Honda Ridgeline Consumer Reviews
It's a Honda!
What can I say... it's a Honda. And for you non-Honda owners, that is a very good thing. The Ridgeline is built to last, and with usability in mind. They seem to have thought of nearly everything, from rubber floor mats that you can get dirty, to storage pockets everywhere, to a composite bed. If I had one complaint, it would be that the base RT model has too many standard features, making the base truck too expensive in my opinion. The Ridgeline definitely sells itself if you take a one for a test drive.
Stellar Truck
I love this truck. The ride is better than any truck out there. Smooth and quiet. Off road handling is most impressive. Handles deep sand with ease. Love the flexible storage through out the vehicle. The interior is very classy in leather. The driver's seat is very comfortable. I feel like I've arrived in this truck.

The best Hybrid-truck
I call it a Hybrid not because of the engine but because of the design. The inside comfort and room plus a truck bed, trunk and the reliability and engineering make this a great truck. I cannot express how nice it is to drive. I have had mine a month now and I sometime just go out for a drive in my ridgeline just to enjoy the vehicle. I have hauled a diverse payload in the past month from mulch to a ton of concrete. So far this truck has done nothing but please me.
Gas Mileage
Overall a great truck. I'm a contractor, home inspector and it works great for what I do. I have over 6K miles on the truck and I haven't see any thing close the 16-21 gas mileage ratings.
Love the "green" Truck
Rides like a car, quiet interior, handles all my outdoor gear, a trunk in the bed, and 21 mpg. So far so good. Have had to replace A/C line and get computer adjust but all is well now.
My thoughts
I have just over 8000 miles on the truck already. The motor is too small. It shifts a lot trying to keep up. I feel it would get better mileage with a bigger motor. Other than that it is a great truck, we use the trunk alot. In short, it needs more horsepower.
Honda did it again
It took Honda engineering a few years to come up with what I call the best truck on the market today. I test drove the Toyota Tundra, the Tacoma and the Nissan Titan and when I drove the Ridgeline I knew that was the one for me.
Ridgeline Kicks Butt in Texas
Traded in our 2004 Odyssey on the 06 Ridgeline -- it's a great vehicle. Comfortable, stylish and wonderful for long-distance travel. Honda's innovative storage solutions are great and the sound system is beyond our expectations. Can you tell we love our new Ridgeline?
Totally Awesome
I am a former Chevy guy who has gone 100% Honda in the last 3 years. Own a small company and have 4 Civics, a CRV and 05 Odysses. Had to get this Truck and love it beyond anything else I have ever owned. Fun to drive, turns head with its "grow on you" styling and people coming up and asking all about it. XM Radio is really great and super sounds. I have used it as a truck and love its versatility. Golf clubs fit below the bed and step in height is perfect. Look forward to years of driving. Redrock pearl is the color to get. My wife likes that this winter the heated seats will come in handy.
Great planning
Just gave my wife my 05 pilot and bought the Ridgeline. This is also first truck I have owned. After seeing and driving it, I was taken by car like ride and Honda quality. Creative engineering, such as amazing room, teriffic options, trunk in truck bed, and outstanding sound system. This is my fourth Honda and I will keep buying as long as they continue to get it right!
