Used 2011 Honda Pilot Consumer Reviews
I felt Regret
I felt regret and disappointed to get this pilot.I just got for a week and found out the defect. The body connected with a piece of plastic every joint is getting loose.I am wondering how a $40,000 pilot looks like a toy?

Very poor residual value after 5 yrs & 70K miles
This Honda Pilot EX-L (it has everything except navigation) does not hold its value like a Toyota product, which is very disappointing. My Toyota Tacoma 4X4 w/90,000 miles, is two years older and has a higher trade-in value. I have not had to repair anything on it, just fluid and oil/air filter changes by the car computer notification, a few recalls, new battery at 5 yrs., new Michelin tires at 30,000 miles which greatly improved the ride quality. The tires still look new after 40,000 miles. I want to keep it but she wants a new vehicle at her retirement. I purchased it certified used with 20,000 miles. MPG mostly city is 16.5 MPG, while highway got up to the best at 22.5 mpg. at speeds between 60 - 75 mph. Jan. 5, 2017 update: Made several dealership visits over the past week and have received trade-in offers between $14K - $18 if I purchased their vehicles: 2016 Acura MDX demo w/5K miles trade-in offer of $14K one day then $15K the next day. A new 2017 Buick Enclave trade-in offer went from $16K to $18K as I walked out the door. A new 2016 Honda Pilot Elite trade-in offer was $15.5K. A Mazda CX9 offer was $14K. Although these offers are within Edmunds published values, I turned them down because they wanted me to pay their bloated prices that were above MSRP prices in most cases for their add-on trinkets of $1K -3K. Still hunting for the best "win, win" deal.

Lovin' My Pilot
We've had this Pilot since the end of March 2010. So far the driving experience has been great with the exception of the poor gas mileage (14.4 in the city), some misunderstandings with voice recognition, and sunroof not closing at times. We have taken it back to to dealer with ref.to the sunroof and it was reset. (We still experience the roof not closing on occasion.) Otherwise the drive is nice & comfy, gadgets are good, exterior is strong, and interior is roomy. We've taken road trips with the the dog and other family and you can't beat the space or comfort.
Vibration in steering when driving low speedand steering same time (walking speed, like parking)
We got the Honda Pilot 2011, since it was the best option for us in the market. I have this SUV already a year and so far I have only one issue/ concern with it. I brought the car to the Honda Dealer for schedule oil change. I made them clear that I feel vibrations and noise coming from the steering wheel during parking of the car ( you have the steer for parking) or when driving out, all this vibrations are very noticeable at low speed. I did a drive with the mechanical specialist from Honda where he said that this is the first time he got that vibrations. I request to do comparison with another pilot, same year, and till today I am waiting for their feedback. issue with hydraulic oil?
