2019 Elite 10A 70k miles - Perfect Momvan
Bought the Elite model new in October 2018. Almost zero problems 5 years later. - AGM battery died pretty fast (and was replaced under warranty) due to my driving style. - Factory front rotors were mediocre, replaced with a far superior aftermarket option at 30k miles.

Unreliable worst car
2019 Honda Odyssey transmission went out and honda refused to help even knowing that they are defective. Note: I actually complained about the transmission while in warranty but was refused.

Hate it!
I have a 2019 Elite and have had nothing but problems with the infotainment system, door sensors, and NUMEROUS recalls since owning. Mine was just in the shop for a speedometer display and camera recall, and back in a week later for a full system failure that was supposed to have been fixed the week prior! Do not purchase this car under any circumstances!

Stay away
I owned previously a 2008 Toyota Sienna that I sold with 189k miles. It never had a problem. I bought a 2019 Honda Odyssey EX-L, once it hit 2500k the Infotainment started freezing, then the amplifier died. To add insult to injury DCH Paramus Honda in NJ didn't provide a loaner, something that I thought every dealership did. I told the Sales Manager of the dealership that they were cheap, as they offered a rental but not a loaner. One time they kept the vehicle for 5 days, and I was stranded with no car. After the 5th time of trying to resolve the infotainment issues I got in contact with Honda Headquarters, so then sent someone from Honda to the dealership. As I met him he said that there would not be any software update coming in the near future that would resolve the infotainment problems. He also said to not even try the Lemon Law because I would lose. After leaving the vehicle for 48 hours nothing was done. I started get a NO SIGNAL message with Sirius. The interesting thing was that if I turned the engine off, open the door, then restart the engine the Sirius would be working without a problem. I thought that it was the antenna. I started dropping my vehicle at another dealership that at least provided loaners. When I started taking it to the new dealership they would tell me that nothing was wrong, and that I had to bring it when it was doing it. The first time it came up with the NO SIGNAL I drove myself to the dealership to show them. We setup a new appointment. After keeping the vehicle for 5 days they told me that the Sirius was working ok, that a Honda person had been there, that they had driven the van and had no problem with the Sirius, and that from there on I would have to involve headquarters again. Toyota came up with the Hybrid van now, so, if I can get what I expect what the Odyssey is worth I will get rid of it, and switch back to Toyota. They make better products than Honda. Honda is aware that the Odyssey infotainment has issues and they are not interested in resolving them. I believe that you earn the confidence of the customers. Honda believes that they can screw customers.

2019 Odyssey A/C fan issues
We have own 3 Odyssey vans and this is the most disappointing. We only have 9,000 miles on it and it’s been to the shop 4 times. Pinch sensor in the left slide door has been on order since March and finally got in to install this week but the big issue is the blower fan. It oscillates with the speed of the transmission up or down shifting. Finally got a dealer tech to acknowledge the issue but says there is nothing wrong and the 2022 do that as a normal operation. When the van shifts, you can hear the fan physically stop for a split second then start again. Once you hear it you can’t unhear it. Neither dealership nor Honda is standing behind the issue or giving any help as to a fix. I can’t decide if it is a poor dealership (part of a mega dealership group) or poor quality on Honda. I have great equity in it so looking for its replacement now. Not another Honda

Flashy looking downgrade
I absolutely hate how low the trunk door opens. I’ve hit my head so many times since I’m used to the older models that open higher. Hopefully i haven’t suffered too much brain damage by now. The transmission lags occasionally as well. I’m really hoping the Gardena Honda didn’t sell me a lemon.
