2026 Honda CR-V SUV Consumer Reviews
Pricing
2026
Having owned multiple CRVs, I've observed a significant improvement in cabin noise reduction compared to earlier models, particularly when the trunk is open during operation. Furthermore, the headrest design has been enhanced, providing a more comfortable and ergonomic experience compared to previous iterations. Upon Bluetooth connection, the current device does not exhibit the multiple connection attempts observed in the previous model. The inclusion of reclining rear seats is a thoughtful feature, and it would have been particularly appreciated during trips when the children were younger. The vehicle's automatic engine stop-start system, which activates upon brake application, is a feature I find undesirable, despite the option to disable it. The vehicle lacks fog lights . A cargo cover isn't included. Furthermore, the gap is not concealed when the rear seats are in an upright position. It appears that SiriusXM is no longer available as a direct option, and the only way to access it is through streaming. Consequently, my spouse now needs to use a charger or Bluetooth to listen to something other than the radio while driving. I find that adjusting the settings with the steering wheel is somewhat time-consuming. Some individuals have mentioned the absence of a spare tire, whereas all of my vehicles have been equipped with one. Additionally, there is a larger infotainment system. The auto-dimming mirror is a welcome feature. However, the automatic high beams sometimes activate at unexpected moments, so I may need to adjust the settings or disable them entirely. It includes numerous options that are often offered as add-ons by other manufacturers.

Waste of Brabs
Been a Honda/Acura owner for decades. Bought a 2026 CR-V EXL. Dumbest decision I ever made. Tech is 10 years old and quality is subpar to previous models including my ‘25 RDX A-Spec. Tech on the CRV is 10+ years old and the power is not much better than a riding lawnmower. Honda Link is useless unless you need to make a service appt, then I suppose it’s good for that. No true wheel position TPMS in the vehicle which is just inexcusable in today’s market of vehicles. I’ve had it two days and will be looking to trade it in soon. I can’t live with the poorest technology ever put in a brand new vehicle with all that’s out there and available. Now, if you want a hybrid shoved down your throat, you can get some of these features which might be a better alternative…..but not for me.

It's okay
I bought Honda's luxury version, but it does not have all the features/conveniences my 2010 Murano had. Honda needs to step up their game on these and on the interior. Hopefully it will be a reliable car that I can drive for many years.

Surprisingly disappointed
I have owned 5 CR-V’s since 2002. My current model is a 2021 Touring that is very comfortable and has been flawless. It is time to trade so I test drove the new 2026 CR-V EX-L with every intention of purchasing the vehicle based on my long history and satisfaction with the CR-V. I was very surprised when test driving the ‘26 model just how much it had changed and mostly not for the better. I liked the gear shifter and center console layout better than mine, but that was about it. During the 10 mile test drive, I felt as if I was flighting to keep the vehicle in its lane. The lane keep assist was engaged, so maybe that had something to do with it. The road noise was quite noticeable in the cabin and you could hear every road imperfection. I also could not get comfortable in the seat whatsoever. Overall, not a comfortable or quiet ride. I don’t know if it was something with the particular vehicle I test drove. The salesman checked the air pressure in the tires, which was fine. I was happy to get back in the comfort and quiet of my ‘21 CR-V and drive it back home. After 23 years driving CR-V’s, which have been fantastic vehicles, I am now looking at other brands for the first time, and also debating on keeping my ‘21 model for as long as it lasts.
