2024 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
Pricing
Love my Honda!!!
I had a 2017 Honda CRV-EX that was totaled and needed to be replaced. Since the original held its value with my insurance payout ( $6,500 less than I paid for it in late 2016), it was a no-brainer to buy another! The 2024 CRV doesn’t have the difficult to reach gas cover release inside the car, it’s a tap and open cover. They also improved the center console/arm rest. It’s much bigger and doesn’t have any moving parts. There is more room in the front seat area, so my 6’4” husband finds it more comfortable! Most other things about the two CRVs are similar. I don’t like that the 2024 CRV EX doesn’t come with a radio with Sirius XM!!! You have to use Car Play and your phone to access it. I also hate the Auto Idle Stop (AIS) system that must be turned of manually every time you drive the car. The price of the car went up $11,000 since my last purchase. While I expected an increase, $11,000 was much more than I expected! All things factored, I am happy with my purchase. I love how Hondas are so reliable and retain their value!!!
AWESOME
The changes they made in the 2023/2024 model year are awesome. Exceptionally quite, rides super smooth, plenty of power, fantastic mph, increased in length therefore more back seat leg room and storage in back, etc

Big Hype Low Return
It's been a year since purchase of my CRV hybrid so I have had time to experience and get past the initial new car purchase. First, it does not yield the mpg advertised, This is my 3rd hybrid so I am full knowledgable on how to drive them, Second, I have had numerous glitches, within first 1000 miles the low tire pressure light comes on, of course Honda like most other manufactures, does not provide individual tire pressure indicators. This happened during a long trip in the middle of nowhere, luckily found some one who checked pressure and ALL were low and this a brand new car. I keep getting a lane departure warning when nothing is around, it just flashes for no reason. Of course Honda says they can not find anything wrong. Third the steering wheel catches when trying to turn, Honda says steering component needs to be replace, but not available for 6-8 months. Finally, in my opinion it lacks most of the features other top of the line vehicles do.

Smooth and different
I have owned and driven Hondas since 1983. This is my first SUV. The ride is smooth and tight. The turbo engine is a nice touch. Roomy and comfortable. Plenty of cargo area for us. The Honda sensing safety features are a welcome. To new to say more.

bad noise and ride
The loudest road noise in any suv i ever drove, no one notices this? very bumpy rear suspension , no one notices this? great mileage but on highway only sub 30 mpg with straining engine. had to get rid of this bad vehicle after 3 months could not drive any longer passport was just as loud, pilot was surprisingly just as loud for 55 thousand . no more hondas, they just do not insulate their vehicles look under body no insulation
