Used 2022 Honda CR-V Consumer Reviews
Not a perfect car but close enough!
After comparing the fifth gen 2022 CR-V with the redesigned sixth gen 2023 model I realized I preferred the aesthetics of the fifth gen EX trim with its faux wood grain and flush touchscreen display. I also felt certain features had been unnecessarily deleted or reduced with the sixth gen (i.e., no fog lights, the engine temperature gauge is gone leaving only an idiot light, fewer interior color choices, both the armrest above the center console box and the center console box itself are no longer adjustable, the second row USB sockets are now optional, the front windshield sprayers are now less effective after being moved to the window wipers, no remote rear seats release levers, HD FM & Sirius XM are no longer included on the EX trim and the flat floor access from the rear when the second row seats are lowered now has a new floor hump due to the second row passengers gaining an ability to adjust their seat back angles). Also, starting with the 2023 model the drive selector lever is no longer elevated above the front USB jacks which results in problematic USB cable management. The MSRP price increase for the sixth gen didn't help any either. So I snagged a new 2022 just before they disappeared altogether. Two observations: 1) for more engine power with higher RPMS keep the ECON mode off and 2) the AWD feature offers a higher ground clearance vs. FWD which is great for avoiding hitting parking space ties.

Love my car
Love my car. Only complaint or thing I would change is navigation. Hate having to plug my phone in to have GPS.

Upgrade from Honda Civic trade in
I am older and less agile (slower and more aches at 75) so I needed a higher profile seat than the lower sport car feel of Honda Civic. The CRV has met my needs. I like the look (got a red exterior) and the cargo and passenger space. Rear seats fold down. The sound system and Sirius free trial are superior to what I had. I have a lot to learn on all the technical and digital features which my son and grandson helped with. The ride is very comfortable and smooth for this all wheel drive. Also my auto insurance is reduced $20 per month based on safety features like blind spot detection and brake assist and warning for collision mitigation and more.

Loving the Honda CRV-Touring
First brand new vehicle I purchased since 1993! I needed a smaller SUV, with the comforts I appreciated in my Acura. The Touring model has the looks, style, comfort, and 27.5 MPG after driving just 1 week. So far, so good, Honda will last me for years to come.
Great new ride
We just picked up our 2022 CR-V EX-L yesterday, and we are impressed with it. The ride home on the turnpike was smooth. The seats are very comfortable. We have a lot to learn about all the new features, but are looking forward to taking it on vacation next week. So we'll have a lot of travel time to learn. I'm so impressed that there is no offensive new car smell, as I am very sensitive to chemical smells. The air filtration is excellent. 3/10/22: With putting under 100 miles on our new CR-V before driving to Florida, I was a little concerned with all the new features. But they were a wonderful asset on the drive, and easy to learn and get used to. The cruise control is smooth and seamless, so easy to use, and so helpful. The assist with stopping behind a vehicle...priceless! Many times vehicles pulled in front of us and the car slowed down smoothly. We had enough cargo space with the seats down to pack enough for a two month stay for two people! The stability, safety, comfort and all that the car offers are fantastic!
