One Week in and Loving It!
After sharing a single car (2004 Buick LeSabre) for the first five years of our marriage, my wife and I decided it was time to expand to two. We conducted extensive internet research on and test drove many of the popular options in the segment, including the RAV-4, Rogue, Outback, Murano, Tucson, etc., but this proved to be the best choice based on reviews, price, and trim options. We went with the EX, since it had the right blend of features we wanted (power driver's seat, Apple Carplay) without the luxury elements we weren't interested in (power liftgate, leather seats - we prefer cloth). The only minor warning we would offer anyone considering this car is that the engine can be a bit noisy when accelerating from a stop. Other than that we love everything about it - it drives beautifully smoothly, has tons of cargo capacity and room for passengers, comes standard with lots of safety features, and looks gorgeous. Our first 300 miles have been a joy.

Worth the wait
Purchased it 03/03/22. I love the AWD on this car. Feels very well planted. Comfy and quiet ride. Worth every penny. Just so many safety features that make this car great! Heated steering wheel is a nice touch for those cold days. Good mpg for suv. Takes regular gas which is a plus too. I will drive this car for many years and keep in the family.

Wonder if mines a lemon
I'm surprised by every review that says this car is quiet. Mine growls every time I step o the gas. Not sure if its the engine or CVT, but it's by far the loudest acceleration in a car that I've ever driven. Mine has 1200 miles and I'm already considering trading it in.

Not a perfect car but close enough!
After comparing the fifth gen 2022 CR-V with the redesigned sixth gen 2023 model I realized I preferred the aesthetics of the fifth gen EX trim with its faux wood grain and flush touchscreen display. I also felt certain features had been unnecessarily deleted or reduced with the sixth gen (i.e., no fog lights, the engine temperature gauge is gone leaving only an idiot light, fewer interior color choices, both the armrest above the center console box and the center console box itself are no longer adjustable, the second row USB sockets are now optional, the front windshield sprayers are now less effective after being moved to the window wipers, no remote rear seats release levers, HD FM & Sirius XM are no longer included on the EX trim and the flat floor access from the rear when the second row seats are lowered now has a new floor hump due to the second row passengers gaining an ability to adjust their seat back angles). Also, starting with the 2023 model the drive selector lever is no longer elevated above the front USB jacks which results in problematic USB cable management. The MSRP price increase for the sixth gen didn't help any either. So I snagged a new 2022 just before they disappeared altogether. Two observations: 1) for more engine power with higher RPMS keep the ECON mode off and 2) the AWD feature offers a higher ground clearance vs. FWD which is great for avoiding hitting parking space ties.
