Very happy with my upgrade

Drove a 2012 Fit Sport for 10 years and loved it, but my first CR-V feels like a luxury upgrade. The ride is comfortable, the cabin is reasonably quiet at freeway speeds, the engine is peppier than I expected and the handling is very crisp. The electronic displays are clear and intuitive. The only things I wish it had are a power lift gate and navigation, but I did not want leather seats so I chose the EX trim which had everything else I wanted. Time will tell if this model lives up to its reputation, but 5 previous Hondas over the last 35 years never disappointed!

Electrical glitching

My brand new crv that has a little over 3000 miles is already glitching. First it started when the touch screen would go back the the main screen after hitting the now playing button. Have to hit it twice. Happens just about every time I start my car. And now today I got home, parked and turned off the car but the lights and radio wouldn’t go off. I tried getting out with the keys but it just beeped at me like the keys were still in the car. Had my fiancé stand 20 feet away and it thought the keys were still in the car. That’s until you started it again it had a screen pop up saying no keyless remote detected or something like that. Tried turning it off again and same thing. Sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for my car to completely shut off. I wonder how much more is going to glitch over time

I really like the blind spot monitor in mirrors. Handling is excellent,. I always use the Brake Hold and lane watch. Both are very useful. To much traffic to get much use from lane assist, or cruise control. Although I did take a drive and test both. I'll enjoy both when taking a highway trip out of city. There is plenty of luggage space, especially with back seats down. My only complaint is the LCD display. It just seems to complicated. Although once I finally figured it out, it works fine. I've had this CR-V for 5 weeks about 900 miles. UPDATE: I've had this one for one years now. There are some minor changes from 2018 ((my trade in). USB connectors are now below LCD controls. They're much easier to access (were inside center consul). Front design has changed. Still has all the electronic safety features. I'm still a fan of blind spot indicator in mirrors. I'm now a fan of the warning when you drift over white divide line. Turbo seems quieter to me. Still has plenty of pickup (at least for me). I traded my 2018 CRV because of the trade in value offered. Of course, I paid more for this new one. I highly recommend this SUV. 2 years old, 26000miles. same positive comments as above. 3 years old 31000 miles. Same positive comments as above.

Great Choice! Does Not Disappoint

I recently purchased a 2022 Honda CR-V AWD EX-L in Sonic Gray. The technology, features, ease of use, and comfort are unrivaled. I had a 2020 Subaru Outback Touring XT, but it unfortunately had more issues than I cared to deal with. The CR-V appealed to me over the Toyota RAV 4 and Mazda CX-5 due to its reliability and dependability. After owning the 2020 Outback, I realized that recent new vehicles are riddled with technological issues. The 2022 CR-V is in its 5th year of generational production since 2017, so most of the bugs have been worked out and it shows. By no means is this vehicle a thrilling ride, but its EPA estimation is very close to what I have experienced. Overall, highly recommend this vehicle if you're looking for reliability, dependability, and longevity.
