No BS
We replaced our 2004 CR-V with a 2018 CR-V. Wow! The 2018 is a little bigger, has more horse power (at a lower rpm) and gets better gas milage. The 04 got 22-25 mpg. The 2018 got 31mpg on the first two tanks. No trips, just normal local driving. I really like the CVT transmission. I believe it is a big help with gas milage and makes best use of the power. Having heat and ac vents for the back seat is very nice. I thought the heated front seats was silly, until I used them. In just seconds you have heat on a cold morning. It may take few minutes for the engine to give you heat. The dual zone automatic climate control is wonderful, just not as fast as the electric (heated) seat! The rearview camera and all the safety and driver assistive features are amazing. I am still learning new things about the 7" touch screen. Up date 3/29/2019 - Have had this car more than a hear, about 12000 miles. Best car we ever had! On a trip of 100 miles of steady driving it gets 35 mpg at 65 mph. Very comfortable front and back. Fun to drive.

A happy lease for an active senior
The CR-V EX, with its Honda Sensing suite of active safety features, is a great lease value: roomy, comfortable for driver and passengers alike, with ample cargo space for transporting everything from groceries to pets to grandchildren and their gear. The wide-angle and cross-traffic warning features of the Honda Sensing system are an especially welcome addition for drivers who frequent parking lots or need frequently to back out into heavily trafficked streets. Similarly, the blind spot warning feature is an excellent addition. Front collision warning and braking proved their worth the second day after I took delivery on the car, when a truck stopped abruptly in front of my at a construction site. The 2018 info/entertainment system link are intuitive and reliable for simple needs and a joy to visiting granchildren with more ambitious demands. The speakers are perhaps the weakest element of the entertainment functions, but Bluetooth and Android interfaces are easy. Controls and settings for the Honda Sensing features are straightforward, and dashboard controls are easy to use. The glove box seems larger than on previous years' models, and the design of the front center console has been significantly improved. The EX touch screen is intuitive but continues to tempt the driver momentarily to take eyes off the road -- an obvious danger of all such systems. Interior finishes may be a weakness over the long term: Honda has used lighter colored fabrics in door trim and on the center console cover; it remains to be seen whether repeated Scotchgard treatments can provide protection against dirt and stains. As a lessor, I use relatively inexpensive seatcovers on both front and rear and custom brand-name floor mats in both front and rear seats and the cargo area. Honda has included as standard on the EX trim the cargo cover which was formerly a pricey add-on. Driver-side seat adjustments offer ample options, and front driver visibility is excellent. Rear seat headrests do compromise the driver's rear vision to the degree that it is tempting to pull especially the rear center headrest. All in all, I'm delighted with my decision to lease the 2018 EX. Down the road, I wish Honda offered a longer basic warranty; a longer warranty would likely influence my decision about purchasing the vehicle at the end of my three year lease

Quality car worth the price.
Comfortable car. Honda should give a 1/2 day class on all the electronics. Still not up on all it can do.

What's not to like.
Started buying CRV EX model in 2002, this is our 7th one and far and away the best one ever. It's bigger, quieter, more comfortable, more powerful, more fun to drive and has all the technology I'll ever need. Really impressed with front seat comfort and smooth exceleration. Looked at Rogue, Escape, 2018 RDX and chose the CRV EX. RDX was nice as well but 5 year old platform couldn't compete with CRV.

KK-Review
On 3 different occasions, while driving the 2018 Honda CR-V on the interstate highway, it started vibrating, and would not accelerate, burning smell occurred, several warning lights came up on the dashboard. We had to navigate the car from the middle of highway to the shoulder of the highway very abruptly. It was a near death experience as several trucks and cars were traveling on the highway at very fast speeds. After the fixes done by Honda the Vehicle is working as expected for the last 2+ years
