Not what I thought

Within the first month of ownership the entire engine cover came off on the freeway. Then another piece came off 1 month later. Both fixed at dealership on separate occasions. The air flow lighting has never worked or lit up. I thought that was just the way it was. I was wrong. Taking that to get fixed. Dashboard makes cracking noises when going over bumps. Electric seats make creaking noises when moving. Audio cuts in and out constantly and navigation screen gets blurry and freezes. Averaging 27mpg constantly no matter how I drive. I just don’t understand what’s going on. I have a 2003 Honda Civic with 400,000 miles. I’ve never had issues with that car like this 2022 touring. Six months in on a brand new car and I can’t wait to get rid of it. It looks nice but it is complete crap.

Love my civic touring hatchback , I used to buy more expensive cars but when I saw the civic was love at first sight , to me , small outside but normal car inside , all modern tech , park sensors , the whole package, and the experience has been very good so far , runs great , fun to drive , some rattles here and there but other than that great , fully recommend. Be aware dealers are becoming very abusive ( more that they were before ) and they are over charging.

The civic is a solid, sporty car that’s fun to drive. The turbo is smooth and there is no hesitation when entering a freeway. It’s surprisingly roomy with a well thought out interior. There is a problem with the hatch. It’s made out of a carbon material. Mine expanded in the heat and a triangular piece of the hatch approximately 3/4 broke off due to not enough clearance between the hatch and the body of the car. Honda agreed to fix it but The car will be in the shop for an undetermined length of time. The repair took a month to fix but there have been no further issues. It’s a quality car, still love it. I have over 10,000 miles on the Civic and no further issues with the hatchback. Still fun to drive, smooth acceleration and the visibility while driving is good. I love all the built in safety features. It’s a keeper! Update 2/22/25. No further hatch issues. Still one of the best cars on the road today. Fun to drive!

Just purchased in white pearl($395)-add on, black leather interior. LOVE it so far, no bad paint job, the only thing i wish is in the sport touring model is that there were back seat ac vents placed somewhere, a drivers side memory seat, and a front center storage compartment. I mean the wireless charging pad is good too. Other then that all around good looking car inside and out.

Beautiful Hatchback

I love my new car. The safety features are very helpful. The only thing that can be annoying is at night country roads it can get confused with going off road even though it is on the road. Sometimes vechiles parked can confuse the auto cruise and slow down the car as if getting close to one. Along with people making turns that the vehicle slows down longer than needed for the person turn even though they are no longer in front of the vehicle. Other than those the vehicle safety is very useful. The Bluetooth connection and system is awesome and easy to use. The space for this car has being a smaller vehicle is very nice and useful compared to the civic sedan I had before this. The vehicle having automatic windshield can be helpful as well. I highly suggest this vehicle if you find interest in it.
