Used 2009 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
2009 LX COUPE AUTOMATIC
I only have 600 miles on the vehicle but I really enjoy it so far. The gas mileage is increasing every tank full and I expect to easily exceed the 36 MPG rating for the car. I wasn't sure I would like the placement of the speedometer but I can't imagine driving a car with a conventional speedometer now!
Back breaking drive, poor visibility...
I have the car now for 3 months, fuel economy exceeds the sticker rating. On the down side you have to be careful when stopping, at low speeds it surges and I would find it difficult to park in a tight spot. I finally got to go on a trip, I- 84 with its ups and downs, the gas engine strains trying to do 65 up some of the hills, it's no power house. And my back was sore after a 300 mile trip, gosh when I go to FL in fall I will need dr to work on my back, I guess it's a car for the younger set, I am 63 and went from a CRV to this. On the plus side it uses half the gas the CRV did. It's too bad Honda can't find a better place for the batteries, I miss the fold down back seats.

2009 honda civic Lx 4 dr.sedan ,1.8L 4cy
I have owned my civic for 2 weeks. I did not test drive the car. I wish I did. I don't like the braking takes too long to stop. The wind takes the car. I had a 2002 civic, I loved it. I just turned in my accord. I am so sorry I didn't get another one. I am stuck with it for 3 yrs. lease.
Amazing
I have owned 2 civics (2001 LX and 2005 SI hatchback) prior to this one. There is a reason why I purchased another new SI. Amazing comfort, style, and power all in this sporty package. If you are even debating getting an SI like myself, do yourself a favor and buy it. On my first tank of gas I got 33 MPG of 50/50 highway/city driving(ratings are 21/29 on the sticker). If you are looking for a car that turns heads then this is the one for you. So far my wife and I have put 1500 miles on it and have loved every minute of driving it. I strongly suggest you get a test drive at your local dealer so you can see for yourself why Honda's slogan is "Above all else."
Just bought it
Just bought this car yesterday. Very impressed with this car. This is my 4th Honda product and I can't say anything bad. I bought this as a second car. My other car is a 2002 Acura TL-Type S. The Civic obviously isn't as plush, but is fun to drive.
