Honda owner since 1977 The best EXL I have ever bought. The last two Accords have been six cylinders (not available in 2020 Model). I was originally worried about the four-cylinder 1.5 engine but it is Fast enough for me. It has the zip you need for passing and merging onto interstate highways.Among the better features is you can connect your telephone’s map navigation app To the car’s screen. All in all a gold medal product !

Great except the remote start

Have a 2020 EX-L. This is my seventh Accord and have enjoyed every one of them. I've never had to do more than routine maintenance on any of the seven. The new turbocharged 1.5 liter engine has remarkable pep, and I'm averaging 35 MPG through 4500 miles. Very comfortable ride and a nice size trunk. However, the remote start is a joke. I live in a place where the winters are rather cold, and the remote start on my other car, which is an Acura TLX, always worked from inside buildings if the car was within maybe 400-500 feet. The new remote will not work from indoors, and has a range even outdoors of maybe 75-100 feet. What good is a remote start if I have to go outside to make it work. I'd happily pay the extra bucks to be able to use the HondaLink app to start the car, but that is only available on the Touring model. I guess $31,500 isn't enough to pay to get that feature. Shame on you Honda. A black mark for an otherwise nice vehicle.

Excellent drive but noisy interior

I love the way the car drives. The four-cylinder 1.5L engine sounds like and is smooth like a six-cylinder engine. Not as fast as one, but not a problem. It's fast enough. Most reviewers online complain about the CVT, but I actually prefer it over the automatic. I test drove both. No shifts, RPMs are always low in the city, and smooth acceleration from a stop. It feels like an electric car. My biggest complaint is the interior noise. Not only the normal stuff while on the highway like tire noise and wind noise, but also rattles caused by manufacturer defects. One major rattle noise is coming from the driver's seatbelt assembly on the b-pillar, right next to my left ear! Worst location ever for a rattle. No matter how faint it is, you can hear it loud and clear! The first dealer pretended to fix it but didn't. The second dealer was dismissive of me and of the seriousness of the problem. After diagnosing the problem, they asked me to reschedule, although I had to wait three weeks for that appointment. The customer service I received from these two dealership made me realize I made a mistake when I decided not to to buy a Lexus. Honda dealerships do not care. If you are considering a Lexus ES, get it. It's not as nimble as the Accord, but at least you get a better build quality and a much better customer service.

Took 3 weeks to find a dealership that could get it when I wanted with everything I wanted. Drives like a dream. The Nav system now has the capability to sync with the Waze GPS app thru the downloaded Android Auto App. The only thing I miss is the automatic telescoping steering wheel my Lexus had but still a great car!!! The turbo engine is nice and powerful.
