Sonata has it all over Accord

Bought this Accord after my lease was up on my Hyundai Sonata. Seemed to be a great price and looked comparable to Sonata. Biggest mistake I ever made. The Accord is extremely uncomfortable over long trips, you can litterally feel every crack, bump and pit on the road. the interior fabric and trim is CHEAP( all mouldings around the doors are drooping and wont stay in place, seat fabric is cheap as well. This car is absolutely terrible in the snow,I would not reccomend driving it in the snow. the positives are the gas mileage and it has been reliable despite the discomforts. In My opinion the Sonata Is definately a much better value. Hyundai is the old Honda, and Honda is the old Hyundai

driving 200 miles round trip to work and needing a car rated with a high mpg i bought the coupe. although it looked sharp the seats were horrible. everyday i would get out of the car with a terrible backache. my wife hated to ride in my car because of it making her back hurt. this was my first and LAST Honda. i've always had Pontiac Bonnibelles and NEVER had a minute's problem. but with Pontiacs longer being in production, I've traded this coupe in for the new 2011 Hyundai Sonata. it is SO much more comfortable and i don't dread driving to work. never had any problems other than the seats being uncomfortable. Good luck to those of you who bought this car but ill never own another honda.

Only getting 15 mph city driving & 20 mph overall on 1/2 highway-1/2 city driving using very conservative driving habits! Fuel economy not good for a 4 cylinder engine built by a firm advertising itself as "the most fuel efficient automaker in the world." 190 hp engine has plenty of power when you need it to accelerate onto the highway. Steering is very precise with only about 2 turns of the wheel lock-to- lock. Has great ride/handling balance- not too firm yet not too soft-so you don't sacrifice the ride to get good handling. Autotransmission upshifts/downshifts smoothly. Cloth front seats big & comfortable. Three people easily fit in back seat. Love the sunroof. Do not notice road noise.

At 96000 miles, I just put my 5th set of back brakes on the car! Honda tells me it's the way I drive... Funny I'm driving a Toyota for the last two years and the back brakes still need replacing... Other than a new battery at 3 years and problems with spiders and webs causing a sensor to break, front brakes x 1 and tires etc it's been reliable that is if you don't mind replacing back brakes every year or two!

Since leasing my accord in Oct: 1: it broke down in December - had to replace the overhead cams, fuel injectors, battery and a few other things 2: in Feb I discover there is an oil leak 3: in Feb I feel a vibration when driving - have a rim & tire replaced and all tires balanced. Honda didn't have the specs to do a front end alignment and told me to wait 4: I meet with an arbitrator who then gets the car aligned - still vibrating 5: the car averages less then 20MPG in a good week. Sometimes as low as 17 6: I'm waiting to see what goes next?
