Used 2008 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Honda...ONLY THE BEST!!!
Bought my 2008 Honda accord 2.5 years ago with 86k miles and she now has 141k miles and has only needed oil changes and a set of brakes and a set of tires, this car has been EXTREMELY RELIABLE and has NEVER once left me stranded. I have anxiety and normally worry if I'm not in a safe vehicle but when I'm in my Honda Accord I know for a fact I'm not gonna get stuck. The speakers are 6.5 inch all the way around I replaced them with pioneer speakers, the 6 disk changer I love, I love the moon roof, the cold air she blows, the purring I-Vtec engine that sips gas especially on the highway. Seats are comfortable and the trunk space is huge, believe me when I tell you Honda is the MOST RELIABLE car that you will EVER find. I feel sorry for the ford, Chevy, and dodge owners breaking down, while the Honda owners are the kings of the road. When you see a fellow Honda owner throw a wave at them and beep your horn and show your proud ownership of your Honda. BUY A HONDA ACCORD TODAY.

Disappointed
First let me say that I am a lifelong Honda fan. I've owned 6 cars and a motorcycle by Honda from 1978 to 2008. However, Honda really dropped the ball on the 8th generation Accord, at least the 2008 V6 EX-L that I owned. I bought it used 3 three years old with only 14700 miles on it. But after the first week I noticed that the drivers seat was unacceptably uncomfortable and had to use a butt pad as for the entire 5 1/2 years that I owned it. Also, they really cheaped out on the interior materials. The center armrest and outside arm rests were made of the thinnest vinyl I have ever seen and would shred if you looked at it funny. I had to replace the center rest before I sold it in mid 2017 but left the ripped drivers side as it was. Interior materials were much cheaper than our 2005 EX-L 4 cyl which is still going strong and has not signs of wear inside. Additionally, I had serious mechanical problems that I should not have had on ANY car let alone an Accord. Transmission had to be rebuilt at 55000 mi. Steering rack had to be replaced at 85000 mi. The one thing my car excelled at was brake wear. I didn't have to do the brakes until 90000 miles(!) and then only the fronts. The rears had plenty of meat left on pads and rotors. I have seen others complain about their brakes so go figure. I'm not completely soured on Honda and would not hesitate buying another one down the line but this particular specimen was something of a lemon. Fortunately, I was able to get a fair price for the car and I replaced it with a near-pristine 2006 Infiniti M35 with approximately the same milage. Needless to say, it is a vastly superior car in every conceivable way AND I got it for less than I sold the Accord for. Accords hold their value pretty well, Infiniti's don't so good for me.

08 V6 Accord
I bought this car used with 20,000 miles this car now has 62,500 miles. Its been a pleasure to drive. Reliability is incredible I have spent $0 dollars on repairs besides regular maintains (oil changes). I love the sound system. The power is decent but a bit under power for it's size in my opinion a 300HP engine would be ideal. The ride is smooth but not as a Toyota. The car handles awesome for being a sedan. The navigation gets the job done. Center counsel is good but has too many buttons. The car sits 5 bodies (including driver) comfortably the leg room is huge. Tech package comes handy. I average 22mpg mixed driving 18 city and 28 highway. Over all i am satisfied with the car.
2008 Honda Accord Sedan EX-L V6
I went from a 2004 Toyota Tacoma SR5, with a lift-kit. I usually put $35 dollars worth of gas each day, and that only got me from home to work each day. It was pretty bad. Road noise on it was horrible, and just a few weeks ago I decided to change it out for a Honda Accord. I love this car! I don't necessarily like the color, but everything else I adore. Interior is superb, exterior is very stylish. Gas mileage is perfect. I filled it up with $60 dollars and it lasted me about 450 miles. There's a lot more to say about this car but, to sum it up, it's perfect.
