Used 2006 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Pleasantly Surprised!
Been in the market for a car since my lease on the 2003 BMW 530i was coming up. With the gas prices where it was heading, didn't really want to drop a bundle on a car nor pay for the premium gas at the pump. I've been very happy with the car for 3 years but felt it was time to be more practical. Looked at a Maxima, Avalon, Camry, and Accord. Finally decided on the Accord based on price, quality, reliability and practicality. I am so glad I went with the Accord. Saved about 3k with the comparably equipped 2007 Camry. I was concerned about going from a torquey German I6 to a Japanese four banger, but so far, I have been very happy with the car. I recommend this car to all in this segment. Nice
Best Sedan value
This is my 2nd Accord and my 4th Honda. I absolutely think they make the best cars you can buy. Fun to drive, most reliable, and low maintenance costs. If you are looking for a worry free fun car to drive that will last 10 or more years and hold its value the whole time, look no further than the Accord. I think this Accord is the best looking. They ruined the looks in 08.

Great affordable used sports coupe
I sold my Acura and my Subaru WRX STi due to buying a house. I was looking for a reliable, affordable and comfortable coupe. I found this car with 53,000 miles, new tires and new brakes. Please check the battery carefully, mine was leaking and the positive terminal was corroded. The car is very comfortable and pretty quiet (not much road noise) compared to what I used to drive. I paid 14K. The V6 has 240 hp from the factory, I added the AEM V2 cold air intake for another 15. The car gets easily 300 miles on a tank and uses 87 octane.
This car makes you want to drive!
My '06 Accord V-6 Coupe is the most enjoyable car to drive that I've owned or rented in the past 30 years. It offers excellent handling & strong acceleration, reasonable gas economy for a V-6 (I get 22 - 28 mpg), an attractive interior (w/leather seats) & exterior, and a large trunk for trips to the home improvement stores & vacations. So far it's been totally perfect. All in all -- a terrific and fun car. What more could you ask for in a 2 door car -- unless you have to haul a family around?
Reliable commuter car
The car is very reliable with great fuel economy for a midsize, but the finish out is cheap. Glove compartment drawer rattles and there is rattle from trunk lid. I've learned to live with it, instead of taking it into the shop. Driver door handle faux metal finish flaked off within the first 10,000 miles (replaced - no charge). The seat heaters only heat the seat and not the lumbar/lower back. Seats are not made for long trips (3+ hours) without a stretch break. Finish out is the biggest negative and almost enough to trading-in or sell an otherwise reliable vehicle.
