My Life Saver
Words cannot explain how much I love this car. I have the V6 model which adds to its greatness. When our family mechanic told us that one of his loyal customers was getting rid of it I couldn't let the deal slip away. I was blessed enough to get this car for $900, meticulously maintained (even with 200,000+mi), and no headache. That's what I love about this car, there's never a headache. Sure, I need to get my motor mounts replaced soon but that's not a major issue. I just love this car. The AC blows ice cold, the heat is great for these brutal winters in NY, and the heated seats make me feel like I'm driving a BMW lol. But besides all those wonderful features... It has NEVER left me stranded. I commute an hour to college everyday and I work on the weekends so having reliable transportation is a MUST for me. Granted, my car has a minor cosmetic blemish in the front but I still love her. Some people look at my car funny but hey, she's my baby and she runs. That's all I care about. Ironically enough I have friends that have had new cars with less miles and the engine died on them and guess who they ask for a ride? Me with my old Honda lol. These cars really are sooooo reliable. I will keep you guys updated until I get another car but this baby is gonna last me a long time. Hooray Honda for making a college student's life easier by not having to rely on Uber! Update 12-21-2021: I just had to update this. Since my previous review I was rear-ended about a year ago, and this car still held up. I got that damage fixed. Just this week I rear-ended someone and the car was still chugging along. All in all the car has held up very well... It has 251,000 miles. I was in desperate need to get rid of it, so I sold it for $120 to a guy at the junk yard. It needs suspension work that I refuse to put into it, plus I was kind of tired of it. But...The car still runs like a dream. The car definitely was worth way more than $120 even with the repairs it needs, but I let it go to a family in need. :) All I do is change the oil, and it runs. I won't lie, it has had some annoying repair issues crop up thanks to its old age and high mileage, but it allowed me to save up for a newer car. This car NEVER left me stranded. Was it a little annoying to drive while it was experiencing issues? Definitely. But has it ever left me stranded? Nope. Get one of these. You won't regret it. I got a 2012 Honda Civic to replace my old baby and I am more than happy. I would have kept my Accord but I live in an apartment so I can't have an unregistered car just sitting around in the lot. I miss my baby already, but she's off to serve another family. <3 :)

Accord Reliability
Make sure to keep up with fluids(i.e.-oil, Honda A/T fluid/drain refill every 15k miles, run full synthetic, whether Honda or Pennzoil, Red Line, or my favorite Amsoil. Use hi-performance synthetic filter media oil filters(NAPA Platinum), or comparable; change coolant every 50-60,000miles, etc) That is why I’ve achieved 309,900 miles! I am currently at 345,000 miles, and getting ready to replace my plugs and igniters. Going with NGK Ruthenium plugs and NGK igniters. My gas mileage had dropped off by 5-7.5 mpg, and my Accord was not starting as easily, as before! Other major work done was rear main oil seal, and transmission seal, replaced along with all motor mounts. Water pump, along with radiator replacement, and coolant replacement, as well. Accord still runs well and very smooth😊

I love this car!
This car is the best in its class. It has the perfect blend of luxury and sports car. The acceleration is amazing! I feel that my 2004 model compares to any 2008 model car with its performance. I'm a young college student with a car thats affordable on gas, and has a classy, forever young look to it. I will grow with this car for sure and just know that it will last me through grad school!
Best car I've owned!!!
I have owned several cars and hands down the Accord is the best. I purchased it with 190,000mi on it and it drives brand new! I paid $3200 for it, and it was the best money i have ever spent. I love the car, its very reliable and plan to drive it til the wheels fall off. The only thing i would say negative is that its hard to get out of the car but then again im 5'8 and have been driving SUV's for the past 7 yrs so it took some time to get used too.
