2004 Accord EX V6
I have owned several Honda's over the years. The 2004 Accord EX V6, is really nice. They have upgraded the interior and interior features. This car has all of the features of the lower end luxury cars, at thousands less in price. The XM radio is a great plus. The ride and road noise is much better than Honda's of the past. The V6 gets up and goes. The speedometer is huge and has new lighting. There is plenty of trunk space.
accord v-6 auto. '04
Very good car overall. Purchased this car last December and have been reasonably pleased with it albeit with a few caveats: The car is not as "quiet" as it should be. Road noise is excessive and additional undercoating did not help matters. Handling is very good. Good sedan, but this is no sports sedan. Engine is nice and the pick up is excellent, although I don't particularly care for steering wheel vibration during idling which the dealer claims to be normal. Fit and finish are good, with a few cheap touches around the back of the front seats. Finally, the two recalls (first the transmission and now the airbag) have me seriously concerned about the quality control at Honda.

Very Reliable Vehicle
I just bought a Used 2004 Honda Accord EX V6 with a good price. It has about 72k miles but its body condition and driving condition is like new. Since its V6 it is equipped with 240Hp which runs fast on a easy acceleration. Its performance both in high way and city is excellent. It has good Fuel Economy for a V6 midsize sedan. The interior is roomy and provide good safety features like front and side curtain air bags. I feel happy and safe when i'm behind this Accord. Even though i didn't bought it when it was new. But overall, it's very reliable car anybody could depend on.
5 yrs 120K still drives like new.. really
I traded my '03 BMW 530i for this car in 2004 due to reliability issues. At the time, I really felt I was taking a step down. However, this is hands down the best car I've ever owned. What it loses in coolness, it makes up for with quality, comfort, economy, & bullet proof reliability. I have over 120K on it now. Apart from routine maint. it has needed nothing. Not a single thing. No squeaks, rattles. Interior materials top notch, wearing well. Engine actually has more pull now than when new & smooth as ever. Avg. 25mpg on regular. Have tried to come up with a reason to trade it in for a fancier car, but can't. Still offers more features than many new luxury makes in 2009.
2004 Accord DX - an outstanding value
After recently comparing various cars, I was surprised to find what an outstanding value the Accord in the DX trim turned out to be. I originaly intended to buy either the Mazda6 or the Toyota Camry, but after test driving those models I decided to check out the Accord. While the base DX is somewhat spartan with some of the luxury items as compared to the Mazda or Toyota, it was also thousands of dollars less, and had a much more solid feel than the competition.
