I have had this car for about 9 months now, and I love it. It is smooth and quiet on the freeway, and has just enough punch to be fun to drive. I wish the suspension was a little tighter in the turns, but hey, this is a family car. The maunal trans and clutch are so smooth and easy to use almost anyone should be able to drive this car.

Fun to drive but has corrosion problems. First, the alloy wheels corroded and pitted within six months. My son's Toyota wheels are like new 9 years later. Also, one of the four bolts that hold the air filter housing on was so corroded it broke upon removal as all four were seized. And finally, I had to replace the rear brakes at a cost from the dealer of almost $500. Front brakes are still fine. My wife and I have driven several Mazdas longer and for more miles and have never had the rear brakes so corroded and bound up that replacement was necessary after just 5 years.

I've owned my Accord EX-L for almost 5 years now and its truly amazing. If you're looking for a car to wow you with performance and handling look elsewhere. But if you want a vehicle that looks classy, rides well, gets great MPG and does just about anything with ease get an Accord. I've taken it on long trips and even though its 5 years old with 40K miles I still prefer it over a rental car any day when I have the option for a business trip. Taught both my teenagers to drive in it and everybody survived! Easily the best all around car I have ever owned...I hope to keep it for many many years to come.

I was looking for an everyday car that is quiet, comfortable, good mileage, and stone-cold reliable. I like the outside. It is well done with clean lines.

This is a great car. I had a 99 Passat and this is better value. I have wind whistle on front passenger side and that is the only thing I find wrong. The back looks a little strange to me and the driver seat could have more adjustment. Power is nothing less than superb.
