Used 2002 Honda Accord Consumer Reviews
Best car for buy and sell
I have always driven Honda Accords, I have accord 92 with 110k miles, everything still original and still like new,and the value of the car is still good even after few years. This 2002 accord I alwyas use for a long distance traveling and very fun and comfort. Once you have driven an accord, you never want to drive another car.
The Honda Accord SE Coupe
This is one of the most fun car's to drive. It comes with Honda's reliabilty and great handling. The fuel economy on the 4 cylinder is great. The car doesn't have the nip of the V6 but still delivers reasonable performance out of the 150 HP VTEC engine. In short, it is a real sweet car for its price

- EX V-6 SedanMSRP: $8,000104 mi away
- LX V-6 SedanMSRP: $4,895126 mi away
I am disappointed
The car idles rough and they said these idle rough and that other people have complained, the engine is very loud on take off after sitting for several hours and they said that is the way these are and other people have complained they are saying it is a valve noise. It rides very bumpy over even smooth roads. Steering at 65 is awful it seems like you are constantly fighting to keep the car straight I don! t know if it is the aerodynamics or what. I have always heard what great cars these are and I am trying to figure out why everybody is so satisfied with these.

Excellent
Very Pleasant Purchase
I've had the car for about 3 months and put on about 3,000 miles, including one out-of-state trip. Car drives and handles very well, providing great comfort. The only disappointment is the mileage: about 20mpg vs the 26 that I had expected. Otherwise, I'm extremely satisfied with the car.
Great Car
I love my car... I guess if six cylinder came with a manual it would be a better car, but consideringthe whole package it is great. Besides, if I wanted a race car I would ahve gotten a different car
Good but clunky clutch
Stylish and easy to handle. A good replacement for a 1988 MX-6. Nice interior features. Maybe a little under- powered.
Fast, inexpensive, and fun!
This Accord is the 4th I've owned in my life, in addition to my 99 CR-V. The coupe has a lot of room, front and rear, and the seats are very comfortable. The engine is very responsive and great accelerating at higher speeds for passing. The gas mileage is great for a V-6. Leave it to Honda to deliver a perfect coupe without depleting your finances.
Can't beat a Honda
This is my second Accord. Last one was 91 LX that I sold at 156000 miles and still going strong. This new one is so much better. Got mine late in year and was able to get for $16500 with optional side airbags, spoiler and fog lights. While I really want V6 insurance prevented it. Still very happy. This car has great and easy to use interior. Looks good on outside. Best build quality going.Good gas mileage(22city/30 highway with A/C on).
Beware the Paint
I like the car, we own the EX-L with all the goodies except the V-6. It's a nice car but we've had really bad luck with the paint. In the first year, we developed a rust spot near the passenger tail light on the trunk that the dealer gladly fixed. Next, about 4 months ago I was washing bugs off the front fascia when a dime sized portion of paint sloughed off. The dealer and the district rep both refused to fix the problem saying it was likely caused by a gravel striking the material. This is kind of odd that a pebble would cause this much damage, especially when we only drive on paved roads??? Really hurt my level of satisfaction.
