I miss my honda
I owned this car for about a year and half. I had the 3.0 V6 Engine and it was extremely fast! Great car. Only issues I had were the wheel bearing which needed to be replaced, brakes and the starter. I'm not sure if it was the starter but sometimes when I would start it up it would lose power and turn off, like it wasnt getting enough power or gas to start up completely. Great car for traveling. The leather seats and sunroof were my favorite. If you're going to get this model Honda get the EX V6 with the leather seats! :) Very stylish and shiny car!

I Love My Car. 15 Years in the Family and No Issues
Despite these accords having transmission failures through the roof, the point it that they are very reliable cars. Most of the issues emerged at 70-100k miles, which is why Honda extended the warranty on the drivetrain. My automatic is at 173k miles on the original transmission. Yes I did get lucky. I have been through a few axles, a radiator, and a power steering pump and 3 timing belts. However, with routine maintenance and possibly one transmission rebuild for some of you these cars will last a long time. Just remember, if you get a good quality rebuild the transmission should last longer than the original. Don't be cheap or go to aamco. Do your research.

Outshines my prior Lexuses!
Previously had a Lexus GS 400 and SC 300. Bought this as a commuter car in Boston. Quieter than either Lexus. Never a buzz or rattle. Adequate power, great ergonomics and engineering. Doesn't try to be more than it is (are you listening GM?), a great sedan.
Okay overall, transmission failing
My wife's car has 112,000 miles and is starting to have some transmission problems. Windshield defroster stopped working a few years back, and some dashboard lights and radio LCD burned out. Honda usually makes reliable cars and I still stand by them, but I still expected more miles out of this car. Our family is crossing our fingers that the transmission holds up. With this economy, who has the money to buy a new car? I have had Hondas through the late 80's and 90's from the CRX to the Honda Accords and the older cars performed and lasted a little longer.
My First Honda.. made me to buy two more Hondas
I bought this baby in 2005 for $10K when it was on 35K miles. Never had any problem. Only regular oil changes and maintenance. Changed timing belt at 90K and now its ready for 120K servicing. Have been getting an average of 25MPG. This car made me to buy two more Honda cars. Very reliable beast to depend on.
