I am loving my Crosstour. I bought the pearl diamond 4 EXL, Sporty look, luxury, Good Sound System, Nice Navi System, as well as Bluetooth. I like the height of the Crosstour, you don't have to kneel down to get into the car, you just slip right on in! When I drive it, it's like riding high, I can see the road. I like it's bulky, strong look. It doesn't look like a cheap Honda. Coming from a BMW that always needing TLC, this Honda is very reliable. Getting use to side view rear mirrors, it's nice that you don't have to break your neck trying to see if cars on on the side of you. This car is for good drivers and one who like quality.....

Purchased used in 2014 with 34k on the record. Has been to date an excellent choice for its reliability, performance and quality. Had its 70k service which took care of 2 recall notices, one regarding passenger airbag and another to correct a software issue affecting the torque converter, also the transmission oil was replaced under warranty. We paid nothing for these conveniences. Just hit 85k in 2017 no mechanical issues, problems or disappointments. Over 100k miles now, zero issues,

Had a 2005 accord leather v-6 which was great. Then switched to Subaru legacy to save a few bucks. Subaru was great but small, felt like I was putting the car on like a pair of pants. Decided to go back to Honda for comfort. Saw a great deal on the crosstour lease. drove it and loved it!! 375.00 nothing down with 16k a year lease. Went with 2 WD and cloth to save a few bucks. Could not be happier with the car. Actually too happy I am at 3000 miles after 2 months. Decent gas milage 21 MPH around town, got 27 driving from Philly to NY city a few weeks ago. Comfy and quite plenty of room. Only complaint is the head rest, leans too far forward. they need to fix this.

Pretty Good-Electrical System has Issues

We purchased a 2010 Accord Crosstour used with 39,000 miles. It has a smooth ride, is quiet, has a luxurious, roomy interior, and drives well. It is great for our family. The engine is smooth and has oodles of power and is pretty fuel efficient. The features are great and the design is very eye-catching. The problems: VCM sometimes shakes the car at certain speeds, and the electrical system is not great. The original battery had a cell failure at 45,000 miles, and then the ac compressor shorted out, draining the replacement battery 3 times before we figured out. We've had numerous other small electrical problems like locks not working and the radio malfunctioning ever since, but we figured out that the reason for this is because the car was accidentally jump-started backwards by a clueless coworker when the battery originally died, so it's not really the car's fault. The car now has 106,000 miles on it and has developed a few groans and squeaks but overall still runs well.

Coming out of the Corporate / Company Car world I've driven a lot of Brand New / Good Cars. This Crosstour is by far the best overall vehicle in terms of quality +reliability + safety. I'm now at 66K Miles so that's a good sample size. My only complaint is the rear visibility because of the sloped rear hatchback. I bought this used with 12K Miles.

I have owned my Crosstour for 6 months now. I have the pewter gray with light tan interior and Navi. I just absolutely love this car. I traded in an older Lexus RX-330,(too expensive to repair). I have no regrets. My family and I are taking it on a nice long road trip this weekend. With its price, style, and gas mileage this is by far a fantabulous car. I get so many double-takes and compliments from others. I just love my handsfree link talking system...awesome! Thanks Honda.

I'm about 10 years into ownership, and my largest expenditures have been for rear brake pads, two sets of tires and replacement of the alternator and battery, through about 80,000 miles. My daughter recently drove it for the first time in a long time, and marveled at it's comfort and power.

After reaching 250000 trouble free miles on my CRV I decided to look for a different car. The Pilot seemed too big and I wanted something a little larger than the CRV, this was it. I'm 6'4" and fit very well in the Crosstour. Love the AWD, the Navi, bluetooth, great power and room. I like the height too, my 95 year old grandfather can get in and out with ease. The shock towers limit the cargo with a bit, but not a huge deal. Would be nice to be able to change the Navi voice, "she" sounds a little naggy sometimes. Only problem was with the dealer, Certified Used from Hidy Honda in OH. TERRIBLE. Would never buy a car from them again. Needed rear brakes after 6000 miles.

I have researched and test driven a lot of cars over the last couple months (Equinox, RDX, Fusion, SRX, CTS Wagon, Venza, Mazda6, Sonata and probably some I can't remember). The Crosstour is the best of the lot. This car is for my wife and she wanted a sedan at first (moving from a Passat Wagon and a few SUV's before that). I showed her the Crosstour with sedan/coupe styling but still some utility with the hatchback and she fell in LOVE. The car has good power, lots of features and rides like you are on a cloud. Like some say, it is an Accord on steroids.

This car is great to drive. When I looked at it I had gotten down to the Lacrosse, XC/S60s... and then I drove the CrossTour. Ride was just as smooth and comfortable. The 4 wheel drive gets me up my steep driveway in the winter. It has an "eco" function on it that reduces power for mpg... which means it's not the quickest off the line, but it'll growl and go if you tell it to. A couple of small design flaws: rear wiper is under-sized and not placed well to clean full swath across the glass and the front tires throw dirty water up over the hood during storms (curious whether mud flaps help?)--and no panoramic sunroof like the Edge and Enclave. But I really like driving my CrossTour!!!

ABSOLUTELY ADORE my black on black fully loaded EX-L. She's my baby, I named her Stormy because she's a beast. On 11-15-10 my 2009 Acura TSX was totaled in a horrible car crash. I made it out alive thanks to the framing of my Acura, seeing it was manufactured by Honda and the ZDX was not in my budget the Crosstour was at the top of my list. I love that there's so much head & leg room, my dogs love the room back in the hatch area. This car has absolutely everything I was looking for. The Crosstour is a head turner for sure! I've had it since Black Friday and couldn't be more impressed, the more I drive it the more I love it!

Update : Well i now have 211500 miles on my Accord Crosstour. I had timing belt replaced along with water pump. Wow this car is awsome the origina timing belt was still on car. Never been changed and drove perfect with no issues. great car never go wrong as you do regular maintenance you will have wonderful experience. I bought this car with 191000 miles. Car fits me perfectly. Being 6'5" it is hard finding a car that fits me perfectly. This car is the best. Comfortable ride very reliable. I only had to replace front break pads and rotors and get an all wheel alignment. Car rides perfect. Plenty of room and a great xm radio sound system. I am honda accord man and this is my dream car. Very reliable so far and and will have for years to come.

Honda just makes a great cars. The Crosstour was no exception. There are issues with blind spots but all cars have blind spots and responsible drivers should take extra caution with blind spots and changing lanes, no matter what car your driving or what the available technology is installed. I bought my Crosstour new in 2010, kept it updated with regular maintenance and never had any problems. It was extremely comfortable for road trips. I recently sold it by word of mouth in an instant and for top dollar as appraised by NADA based on the fact that it was a Honda and I kept it clean and with scheduled maintenance. I replaced it with the 2018 Honda CRV.

I've had the car for 8 years and it has been perfectly reliable and a pleasure to drive. Never breaks down. Never gives me problems. Very pleasant, comfortable, stable, safe ride. Great for long trips. There is the issue with the blind spot, but it hasn't bothered me much. Love the way it looks and handles. I thought it compared better than the Outback and Venza I test drove.

I guess I never posted a review on my CT. I've had it since 2/10 and it was an impulse buy. I had seen the CT at a Costco display and fell in love so when we went to the dealer and went through the car - the selling point was the hatch with the tray and the latch to lower the back seats among other things. I had an 06 Accord and it seemed like the CT fixed the things that bugged me about my Accord (which I loved as well). I drive fast and it's smooth and corners very well. This car runs very quiet and the Active Noise makes it quiet inside although I play the stereo very loudly. I love my CT even more after eight months of driving it.

I love my Crosstour, sadly it gave its life to save me and a passenger. A trucked ran a red light hitting the passenger side at probably 45 mph. The car was pushed and then rolled onto a fire hydrant and 2 foot steel concrete pole. The passenger compartment protected us, Side impact airbags were deployed, front did not (as designed). Rescue services are still amazed that we suffered only bruised ribs. I have already ordered its replacement. I wish I could upload a photo.

The VCM system is a disaster. I have 2010 accord crosstour with cylinder misfire, oil consumption, and fouled plugs. While driving to work, I experienced a loss of power and check engine light came on. I limped to a local garage that services asian vehicles. He read the code (misfire cylinder 1), pulled the plug (fouled), and checked oil (2.25 quarts low). Within 10 minutes he diagnosed the problem and told me there was a class action lawsuit forcing Honda to extend the warranty for this condition. Great I will visit the local Honda Dealership. Upon arriving I spoke with the service manager, explained the situation and he was well aware of the issue but wouldn't do anything because the code had to be read at the dealership with their equipment (code had been cleared by previous mechanic). I called Hondas corporate office and spoke with a representative and the response was the same: must read code at the dealership. Wow! How could I possibly benefit from fixing this issue (I felt like I had done something wrong). This issue has been known by Honda and it took losing a law suit for a resolution (which is difficult - hopefully breakdown occurs near a dealership) to be reached. I feel the company is chasing the bottom dollar and the customer is 2nd. My question: if this were the 1st vehicle Honda had built, where would this company be today? The representative I spoke with said she would make note - what does that even mean? She told me I could submit a request for reimbursement of my costs from the previous shop (would I really be reimbursed after experiencing the above behavior). This is not about the $70 I spent, it is about doing the RIGHT thing. Sincerely, Frustrated and Disappointed!!

This is my sixth Honda, and I love it. This is pure luxury without a pretentious nameplate, which I appreciate. Not for the big SUV crowd, but a powerful, surefooted, sporty, high end ride with great storage and packing capabilities, and lots of room for passengers. I don't even consider it a CUV; to me, it's more of a sporty, five door that is both practical and great looking. I love the bigger tires and the 4WD capability for bad weather. I've gotten lots of comments and questions, all positive. I am thoroughly enjoying this car, and will have it for many years.

I love this car. It is smooth and has near 300hp. Yet suttle until you bring the beast out if you like, with the iVTECH. Not the Earth Sense, but the model before it. Sits up high, Great! for curbs and speed bumps and parking in the rough. 4WD I am sure is nice but, in the south I have never needed it. I get so many compliments and asked "what is it" that it is not funny. So I love the ugly car of it. It is a Sport SUV sorta. Enjoy. Low maintenance. 100,000 mile drive warranty....

Third review and it has all been down hill. Latest problem entailed an engine rebuild that took 2-days. Taking back for forth time now (already had brakes redone, and seat belt problem),to have door alignment fixed, temp gauge/sensor replaced, and address paint color match fade issue on plastic parts. In my opinion this car is a disgrace to Honda and should not be called an Accord. I have the White Diamond Pearl finish and it is clear the paint on all of the plastic components were done from a separate batch and mix. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR! I write this third review out of extreme disappointment and frustration. Our last Honda (Civic) was fabulous for 11 car-free years. We traded it in for CT.

Picked up a Crosstour after shopping for months for a vehicle. I'm tall and the center consoles on many of the cars I tried cut into my leg room and the headroom was sparse. Wasn't comfortable in the Taurus, Sonata or LaCrosse. Venza was jittery on bumpy roads but otherwise nice. Murano with a sunroof did not have enough headroom and the base model was a little too base. I liked the higher seating of the Crosstour over the Accord and I thought it was smoother, quieter and had more headroom with the sunroof than the Accord. The Accord was more fun to drive however. The dealer sold me up to the EX-L AWD with Navi which was more car than I needed but for $31,500 I thought it was a good deal

A step up from other accords in utility, comfort and road feel. Confident on highway and handles large bulges and holes very well. I could not be happier. Very stable at high speeds and fuel economy for a vehicle of this weight is superb. Have owned over twenty Hondas and this is the best one ever. Also, once you get acclimated to the rear configuration and learn where all the small view windows are located, rear view vision is not a problem at all, and the back up camera is the best I have ever used. Gorgeous interior and the exterior is much better looking on the ground than in the photos, in fact, very striking and aggressive from most angles. A smart buy - great value for the bucks spent

Performance, comfort, practical...all wrapped nicely in one car. I put on 45,000 miles a year. My recent trip of 2,300 miles ended with NO driving fatigue. HWY avg was 26 on this trip. It was like being in a perfectly configured cockpit. The entertainment options were endless, XM radio, iPod, CDs with books on tape. I actually look forward to trips now. My golden retriever loves being in the back. She slept for 5 hours while we drove. She used to get sick in my element and my wife's mini cooper S but this ride is so smooth, she no longer gets car sick. The interior is as luxurious as an Acura, even more so than the TL. Honda nailed this one! It is perfect!

I really like this car. It is smooth, has power, and handles well. Mechanically it has been great. But.... it is EXTREMELY hard to see out the back when backing up. If it had a back up camera that would be great but my 2010 model does not have that feature. I'm nearing the point now (90000 miles) where I have to decide, sell or trade...or keep it for another 90,000?? Ok I traded the car in rather than buy new tires and spend money on a timing belt. Really it was a great car.

We are now a 2 Crosstour family. Love the comfort, utility and simply "slick" manners in all situations. This car is an overall better car than those costing much more.If you don't need to haul around 2 tons of stuff, it id perfect. For the weight and type vehicle, gets excellent gas mileage with superb range. Unquestionably the best Honda ever. If you read the reviews carefully and ignore the immature remarks offered by some, you will find enormous satisfaction with this vehicle. Highly recommend.

On the bottom of each door there is a rubber strip. If you look at the top of it you will see road dirt that has accumulated between the rubber and paint. Here in the Northeast that also includes salt from winter conditions. If not removed routinely this will promote rust and eventually rot through. I have contacted Honda but they are unwilling to help. It's a design problem and not fixable by adding mud flaps.

This is a great car to drive and Honda has done a great job morphing an already "Highly Accepted" Accord into a multi-purpose sedan. The hatch back configuration with hidden bin is awesome. The rear visibility is not. I really love the Honda feel and power of the V6. However, I am really disappointed that a car company that made has done so many things right could get the electronics so wrong. The hands free blue tooth without Nav. is awful. Slow and tedious. I am already using the voice commands through my i -phone to circumvent the system. It can't even read or download your phone book. Needs hatchback release. Manual is archaic.

A lot of bang for the big buck

For a larger car, this one is nimble and nicely powered. I enjoy the drive, ride, and extremely well designed interior spaces. It is not unlike Honda to put a great deal of thought into their vehicles, so this one is no exception. I also have a 2006 S2000 and that car sold me on the Honda brand. This one is a lot of bang for the big buck.

I have not made it to my first oil change (6K miles) and my car is in for some warranty issues. The engine has developed a tick/clack when starting cold, the breaks need turning, the driver's seat belt sticks, and my ambient temp read is often inaccurate. This is my first Honda and it is losing it' luster. Has anyone else developed an engine tick? :-(

Test all aspects of rear visibility

Picked this car over the Toyota Venza and Subaru Outback. It has distinctive exterior styling and nice attention to detail with interior. Good handling, quiet ride, very decent power. Total rear cargo bay area less than main competition but is versatile. Rear visibility is quite poor, however, it takes getting used to heavy reliance on side mirrors. Rearview is at its worst at night because of the tinted glass of hatchback door. Car is questionably safe backing up without optional backup sensors and rearview camera that is part of navigation unit. Prospective buyers beware that nav/rearview camera is factory install only and cannot be retrofitted to the vehicle because of dash configuration.

We adore our Crosstour!

My husband and I came to a compromise on the type of vehicle we both wanted independently and decided that the Crosstour best met both of our needs. His need for speed and room for his 6 foot 300 lb. stature, and my need for safety, strong motor and trunk space. We both required the high stature, as we had previously owned a Mercury Montego and loved how it sat up higher than other Sedans. The Crosstour is so much fun to drive - it hauls "tooshie"! I just wish that the gear box did not have to think about it first when you step on the gas pedal. The car feels sturdy and I feel safe in it. I love the look of it, but it's a love hate styling for most people. All in all a good car!

Purchased our first Honda (2009 Accord EX-L w/nav) in 2008. Loved the car but after two years (and getting older) found it hard to get in and out of. Also noticed the road and wind noise. Started looking around for a vehicle that might be easier to get in and out of with a smoother, quieter ride. Test drove the Edge, Equinox, Highlander and Venza. Liked the Venza but decided to try the CR-V. During the test drive the salesman suggested we might want to drive the CT. Had not heard of it but after seeing it (White Diamond Pearl w/black leather, and driving it, knew it was what we had been looking for. Loved the styling, familiar features, ride and love to drive it. Can't wait for long trip.

I recently purchased my AWD Honda Crosstour and couldn't have been more excited. Spent a lot of time deciding although I am a Honda fan. This was a splurge but I dove in. I had the car for about two weeks and loved it. I decided to take it for its first car wash. As I was led through the automatic machine about ten seconds into my wash my rear window completely exploded into a million pieces spewing glass into the hatch back cover as well as into the back seat! Frightening experience. As of now the car wash is claiming it's a Honda defect and Honda saying it was absolutely the car wash's fault. Now I've been without my car for a week with no resolution and I have hired an attorney.

Before buying the CT, I checked out Venza, RX350, Q5, and RDX. Each one has positive and negative features. I like the Q5, too, but after learning about the transmission issue from Edmunds forum, I decided on the CT. Quality of the CT is also comparable to RX350 and Q5 but less expensive to buy and own. I bought EX-L 4WD with Navi, Tango Red color. So far, I have 150 miles. I love the ride, quietness, comfort, space and quality.

This is the 5th Honda I have owned and my lease was up on the Accord EX/L. My wife like the look of the Crosstour and after we drove it we purchased it. We wanted an all-wheel drive and extra cargo space since I recently retired. The Crosstour is quiet, fun to drive, handles very well and has a great price point. The only draw back is the passenger seat is too low for my wife who is 5' 2" so we purchased a seat cushion. I'm 6'1" and feel like I'm sitting in a cave. That is the only negative on this great vehicle.

We just leased our CT-Navi after driving a Pilot(s) for the past six years. Our kids are no longer car- pool age, and we wanted to downsize. More importantly, we wanted to stay with Honda products. The CT-Navi is a tremendous car and value. The ride is terrific. Beware on highway as 70 mph feels like your only doing 55 mph! Highway mileage is very good @ 27 per gal. Regarding all the reviews I read about the car being beaten with an "ugly stick", I just don't get it. Admittedly, it is a different design but it works! I parked next to an Audi A-6 yesterday, and the Audi owner was very impressed! Finally, and most importantly for me, I am very tall (6'7"). The car is very comfortable to drive.

Just purchased one last weekend after driving BMWs for the past decade. Drives a little less sporty, but with so much more comfort, reliability and ease of mind. 100,000 mile / 7 year warranty I'm sold. The response of the engine from 6 cylinders to 4 in city driving and 3 cylinders in stop and go is seamless and the 4WD is so nice for Chicago winters. No more worries while driving our snow-packed streets. I smile when I drive this car!

Traded in a TL for this. Loved that car & love this one. Way more room than the TL, AWD, loads of features - just not as fun to drive as my TL. Hopefully Acura takes a cue here & builds out an equivalent Acura model. Got to use the car in deep, blowing snow this weekend & the thing was a champ.

I enjoy driving the car and have had no problems with it. Good reliability in all aspects. Drove it to the east coast the week after purchasing it and got wonderful mileage on toll roads. Driving the speed limit and with minimal traffic I got 26-27 mpg. Love the car.

Found a 2010 with 59k. Took it in for its first check and service...at 82k. On the way home from, the engine came on, the traction control light came on, car disabled... Took it in, plug #1 miss fire... Changed all plugs. Did the 100k service. had another miss fire three months ago, same time and sane spot co.ing home at night...wierd. Service shop said it was the oil pump switch, it was replaced. Good for about 8 k, then had another miss fire three night ago. SMe #1 plug ...will be taking it in, with the car saver warranty, and the service bulletin I have......I'm not sure what is going on, been reading the complaints about this very issue, and there was a class action suit ...so...the car 4x4 I have is great, but had not been reliable due to this misfire problem...

(Former NFL player & now NFL coach) This was my FIRST every Honda vehicle! My wife and I purchased the car from Hamilton Honda in NJ. The service was unreal and by the time we stepped into the vehicle, we were blown away! It's roomy, nice looking and powerful enough to dart out into this crazy NJ traffic! Unlike other cars on the road today, this car looks totally different in a good way. We had one of the first Ford Expeditions in Charlotte, NC in the fall of 1996 and people were looking at us like we were aliens. The same thing is happening to us again with the Honda Crosstour! I'm 6'2" 250lbs and I have no problem riding behind the drivers seat at my setting! GREAT car!!!!

Wife's car, and I cannot wipe the grin off her face. This was purchased as the family/people mover and our experience thus far has exceeded expectations. I am amazed at the value in this car, as we traded in a Lexus RX and the CrossTour is more luxurious, more flexible, uses regular unleaded. Unlike the editors negative remarks regarding the dash, we have found the buttons preferable to the interface on our BMW, and the Lexus interface. Ours is Black on Black and it has attracted an amazing number of looks and favorable remarks. The car looks best in the Black, White and the metallic gray, green not so much.

Bought the Crosstour as it provided the right combination of elements I was looking for : 1) Space; 2) Utility; 3) Reliability; 4) Uniqueness; 5)Price. So far I have been very happy with it. It has very good build quality overall. Gas mileage has been better than expected - 29 mpg on my first tank, mainly on highway commuting miles. It is a fun car to drive and own if you don't want/need an SUV but are looking for more utility than a regular sedan.

Now that I've had it a while, I'm even more impressed with my Crosstour than I was when I test drove it. Build quality is excellent and it performs like a sports car. It has plenty of power and takes the curves with a great deal of aplomb. The ride is quiet and it handles city streets like its on a newly paved street.I feel like I got a great deal, in terms of value, with this car as opposed to some of the others I considered. this is our fifth Honda and I've never been disappointed.
