No Shifter Kills the Sale

Whoever came up with the "out of direct sight" push button transmission should find another job. The dealer explains that women complained to GM because they could not put their bag closer to them.....so whala- lets get rid of the gear shift lever and give women more space for the bag. Standard gear shifts for triptronic or similar D-2-1 transmissions add a level of enjoyment to a normally boring auto transmission. Eliminating a simple gearshift guarantees lost sales to men and women who prefer to use a gear shift for downshifting, especially up and down mountain roads, and especially parking in tight spaces. Going to check out the new Santa Fe.

For comfort, luxury, styling, and performance; this is the best SUV in its class, bar none. Unbelievable gas mileage, averaging 36 mpg with over 11K miles of driving.

I have had this vehicle for a year and am very pleased overall with it. I was forced into buying when my last car simply died and have no regrets. I'm a busy mom so alot of getting kids in and out I have plenty of room for their car seats and to maneuver without killing my back, lugging around loads of stuff I have moved up to 200 pounds of horse grain bags in the trunk and dealing with messy shoes on kids which are manageable with the the wipe clean leather. This car has great power with the turbo for merging when I need it. It's louder than my sedan was due to the extra space in the rear so I often tell the kids to speak up, but we manage. Favorite parts are the Turbo, fuel efficiency, all wheel drive when I need it in Buffalo, NY snow/ice and it's reliability it's needed no repairs and I have had no issues. Things I don't love are the front seats are meant for someone taller than my 5"2" stature this is an issue I have in Chevy vehicles as well, I can't get the head rest right and it feels like it's pushing my head forward. The navigation is excellent if you manually type it in but the voice recognition is the worst I have ever experienced, it's embarrassing as far as technology goes. I can say 1 2 3 Main street Buffalo, NY and it will come up with wild things like Albatross Blvd Kalamazoo Michigan.... It's very weird. The truck is a little a small and I have pile my groceries on top of each other, but knew that going into it. Over all a major win and hi
